55My dog enjoyed the trail and running through the fields. Walking through the snow was good exercise for both of us.
55Nice wide trail that leads to a large field that the dogs loved running around in! Host was responsive to messages. We had a great time.
55What a lovely trail! My dog had an amazing time running up the trails & sniffing around. :)
55My two girls had a great time! They loved squishing through the mud and puddles and found some stinky things to roll in in the field 🥰 it was so nice to see them get to run free in a big open area. Thank you for opening your property to the “city folks”!
55Nice trail to walk on that leads a big open space for running. We enjoyed our walk here.
55Just treated my dog Piper to an hour of a fabulous off-leash trek at Pawrecious Pets at Burr Meadows. It was our first time here… and it definitely won’t be our last!! Piper had a blast being able to freely roam/wander the acres and acres of trails and wide open spaces with me. It was great to be able to have it all to ourselves. She was one tired, but happy dog after her adventure.
55Beautiful spot! Lots of snow. The paths were not fully groomed so it was a workout for my pregnant self, but they let me know that ahead of time. Definitely will be back!
55Great spot, nice trail with multiple fields branching off it for running.

Updated January 1 2025 Daily 7:30 A.M. until 4:30 P.M. we offer a partially fenced 100 acre property where your dogs can run free. We have 3 official trails currently, plus 2 groomed 1 acre field play areas. At this time there are also 2 large fields that have been planted with wheat and are perfect for walking and playing. We have chairs available in the first field for you to relax. We have a Chuckit available to throw balls for your dogs. Fresh well water in a bucket, for dogs, and bowls, are provided in the first field also. There is a pond at the bottom of the first field to the right. I don't recommend it for humans at all and only for dogs in May, but dogs have been swimming in there all summer and fall and seem to be liking it fine. In winter, the pond poses a danger. Please don't allow people or dogs to go on to the ice. There will be a warning sign in winter. From there we have a mile long gravel walking trail along fields and forest. It's very straight, and if you stay on the trail, you can't get lost. It is very quiet and peaceful. You can often see deer, wild turkeys and lots of birds, sometimes bald eagles. A walk to the end and back is 2 miles and takes 40 minutes at a moderate pace. Part way back the main trail goes through a shallow marsh. In the spring the frogs singing is quite remarkable! Further along there is a small run-off creek and metal culvert that is suitable for dog swimming in the spring. This is marked with orange (now kinda yellow) pylons so is avoidable if you put your dogs back on a lead as you pass. Just past the culvert, we offer a trail around 2 plowed wheat fields going East. It's along woods and takes about 15 minutes ending back on the main trail. Just past the entrance to the wheat fields on the main trail, we have several fields that have been harvested and are very flat. They have now been planted with winter wheat. You can go wherever you like on these fields! Just past these fields on the main trail, there is a deer tree stand on the West side. Currently we have a trail camera at the base of this stand so be advised. It faces along the tree line, going north so is easy to avoid. After this you will reach the base of the big hill along the main trail. Going East at the base of the hill is a nice short trail going through the cedars, The Shady Trail. This trail ends at a small field with a deer stand in it. In and back would take about 10 minutes. The main trail ends at the top of the big hill. Please stay out of the woods until we've got snow on the ground and you can find your way out. We do use the woods a lot, so there are trails but they aren't always obvious to others. We don't want folks getting lost! Be dressed for gravel on the trail, uneven footing on the wheat field and shady walk trails, and potential water and mud puddles on the property in wet seasons and after rain. ** The mains trail can be icy in spots in winter so wear appropriate boots. The main trail runs North/South so if you want a sunny walk, go at midday. A shaded walk, go after 3 p.m. We have a white garbage can for poop but please use biodegradable dog poop bags. Please remove your dogs' poop wherever they go! ***IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD, $12 per hour for the first dog, subsequent dogs are $6/hour. On your way home, stop at MacKinnon's brewery just down the road for food and drinks. They are dog and family friendly; an all around great place to visit!
