Hi!! And welcome to Fritz & Friends Farm! 💕We are so excited to share this spot with you and your dogs so they can run free and play! This spot offers a variety of excitement… Mowed trails, fun obstacles and play toys, a water tub and hose, shady trees with picnic tables, nice views of the foothills, birds singing and seeing my mini Herfords grazing in other sections of my property. Based on the season, it looks a little different. In the spring before the pasture is hayed, I mow trails through it. (Keep in mind when it rains, it can get a little wet in the northwest section… but the other areas always stay dry.) When the summer comes, the pasture is hayed thereby offering a vast playground. When the winter comes in, it’s a fun place to play when it snows. My goal is to keep it lush with grass so I may offer limited open slots from time to time… So if you don’t see a time that works for your schedule, just message me! Located about ten minutes from downtown Bend, we are in the country - you’ll see cows, sheep and horses, as well as deer, bald eagles, red tailed hawks and other wildlife, on your way to us! Once you arrive you’ll have full use of our fully fenced, mainly flat grassy dog area bordered by trees and landscaping. This Sniffspot is truly unique and gorgeous, with lush 360 degree sweeping views of towering Redwoods and mowed Perennial Rye grass. In addition the "mirco climate" is more ideal with less fog and more blue sky days than downtown Eureka or Arcata. Not only will your dog enjoy this large open space, we're adding a seating area and shade awning to keep you comfortable during your visit (coming soon). This location is very ideal when visiting the Headwaters Forest Reserve just one minute up the road! Some guests like to come first to exercise their dogs before taking them on leash into Headwaters.
