IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD. Grassy paddocks with Lake.
Our property is a little bit country- situated down a dirt road close to Gateway and the airport. The dirt road is bumpy, so please be cautious. There is a lovely, gator-free pond for your dogs to enjoy and 2.5 acres of fenced in land to run and explore.
Fields and walking trails with creek access.
Private access to the south end of Lake Cle Elum and quiet, beautiful hiking nearby. Perfect for dogs to run off leash without much distraction. Ideally good recall dogs to keep from running for deer.
IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD 10 acre property, approximately 7 acres of dog friendly area. Path around the pond and into the back of the property where there is woods. The back of the property is less maintained and it is only recommended to go back there if you wish to explore and are sure to be safe with your dog on leash, just because the previous owners of the property left some car debris back there that may be harmful to dogs if they are not careful. We take our three Chihuahuas here all the time with no issues. We’ve taken them to the back as well, but usually just stay to the maintained area around the pond. People have heard coyotes and seen coyote trails on the property so if you have a small dog, it is recommended to be on leash just in case. Pond is great for dogs to swim, relatively clean water that our dogs and ourselves swim in. Pond also has an island in the middle, which makes for a cool place for dogs to swim to.
The Woodland Bluffs. 30 acres private land off big river. Start you and your furry friends journey down the trail where you can see different shelves off the bluff. Don’t worry the trail is rocky but wide enough for a tractor. As you come to the bottom of the trail it flattens out with beautiful trees that stretch all the way to the river banks. The river changes this area frequently as it usually floods with heavy rains, so your second trip could be a whole new adventure. The bluff blocks the area at the bottom so it’s just you, your furry friend, trees and a river. Small cave is somewhere on the property. Grass is not maintained. Sometimes it will be long and sometimes not. Some Fourwheeler trails are found throughout the bottom flat area. Lots of large rocks and downed trees make this a great training area. The river may be up or down. The lower flat area does not typically flood unless there is flash flooding. During flash floods we will block availability and will make every attempt to notify scheduled guests. Once you head down the trail the house and road will not be visible. Across the river the banks are fairly high, they do have cows on the opposite side of the river. You may hear or see them from time to time. The hike down is rocky and the hike back up is fairly steep, but the views are worth it and change with every season. Hope to see your adventure pictures soon. Thanks for visiting.
