55We love going to Maureen & Dan’s! They’re always so friendly and kind to me and my dog, and are thoughtful to always ask before coming out to greet him or give him treats (which in our case we’re happy for the visits and treats!). We set up a couple agility obstacles in their yard and it’s a great place to practice without distractions of other dogs. They also have lots of toys and everything else my dog would need while there. They’ve also been flexible to let us stay a bit late if we arrive a bit late. Parking has always been easy on the street in front as well.Andrea M.

Access to fresh water (via hose) and water dish, a few toys and benches for owners to sit on. We had some shade from the building next door since it was mid-afternoon so that was helpful since it was a pretty warm day. We stopped in to Pupstars next door to say hello and buy a few treats and the peeps there were great. Highly recommend this spot for safe, clean, off leash fun! Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks.
