55As described. We took our reactive dog and she enjoyed the space. Easy to find and access. Good communication from the host. Plenty of room for a good run. A small coppice in the area adds to the fun with plenty of sticks on the ground. Little distractions due to the location. Toys, poop bags and water were available. Our dog is just over 40 pounds and I think the area is secure enough for her, maybe not so for a smaller pet. Overall, we loved it.
55Beautiful, quiet yard backed up on some woods. Fencing was secure enough for my giant, but a more agile escape artist could probably parkour over in some spots up by the patio. (I did leave my dog’s longline attached to his harness just in case, but he has pretty poor recall and I’m paranoid tbh.) There were lots of different things to smell and investigate. We saw a few deer running by and heard a dog and maybe a rooster in the distance, but nothing in the immediate area. Thank you Sarah, we had a wonderful time!
55Spot is as advertised. Large enough for a big dog to exercise. Fencing is secure for large dogs, perhaps not fully secure for small ones. Host's own dog was not seen or heard. Dogs and chickens were audible at a distance. Deer were visible nearby. Located on a quiet rural deadend with the street visible from the spot, but passing pets seem unlikely. A suitable spot for our reactive dog.

Description

This is a Force Free Zone No aversive tools are allowed, including and not limited to; E-collars Prong collars Choke chains Slip leads Squirt bottles Penny cans Yelling Threatening Etc. There are larger gaps around the gates please inspect them to make sure your dog can’t fit through before letting them off leash. Please stay out of the orchard area that is separated by fence, the fencing around the orchard is not secure. Please no excessive digging or barking. Have fun!!

Did you know that dogs evolved as scavengers? Give your dog a delightful, species specific, adventure sniffing out hidden treats in the yard. I will hide treats in easy to shred material like cardboard or brown paper. I could also mix in a hidden lick mat with spreadable food on it for them to sniff out and lick to their hearts content. Please let me know any food intolerances before hand and if your dog has a habit of eating paper or toys and we’ll work around that.

Please pick up your dog’s poop or my dog might eat it. :( Please do not bring your dog if they are sick. Please no excessive digging or barking. Please make sure gate is secure behind you. *Absolutely no punishment may be used in this space.* Please stay in the largest back yard area do not enter the orchard on the side of the house. Please take any toys with you. Water bowls will be cleaned daily.
