Green Acres Homestead 1 Acre Sniffspot
Welcome to Green Acres Homestead! Discover acres of adventure on our fully fenced pasture, complete with a seasonal creek and a peaceful pond—perfect for dogs to run, splash, and explore. Nestled on a charming farm beside Green Acres K9 Resort (A dog boarding and daycare facility), our play space offers a secure and refreshing retreat for your pups, whether they're visiting for playtime or boarding nearby. Important: Please keep an eye out for sniff spot signs and follow them carefully to reach the designated play area. You are encouraged to park all the way at the end of the driveway infront of the fence. Reality alert: Most folks already understand this and really enjoy bringing their dog here to play but for those that may not be as familiar we really want to make sure that you understand the environment that you will experience when you come to our sniff spot. It is very likely that the following could occur: 1)Hear a dog barking from the boarding facility 2)See a farmer working 3)See livestock share a fence line (Yes you can say hello to them) 4)Find mud in the wet season, no creek in the dry season 5)Alge in the pond when the water is not flowing and weeds in the field 6)We work towards keeping the main area of the field free of blackberries and weeds that poke by mowing but do not guarantee a weed free environment 7)The creek and pond are spring fed but there is always a chance of picking something up in nature 8)Your dog is welcome to dig and carry sticks and rocks. Be aware there may be holes, sticks or rocks 9)There is a dock that has no problem supporting my family on the pond but makes no promise to support anyone. You are welcome to use it but understand that is at your own risk and judgment. 10)The pond has gradual sloping sides on over half the pond but there are sections where it is steep. 11)We really don't want to discourage anyone from enjoying this place like we, do but also don't want people to expect something that is maybe not a reality. We look forward to seeing you here sometime soon.

AS YOU KNOW, WE TRY HARD TO KEEP THE PARKS UPDATED AND COMFORTABLE FOR EVERYONE, TWO AND FOUR FOOTED. THANKS FOR YOUR LOYALTY AND SUPPORT! WE APPRECIATE IT! OPEN SUNUP TO 10P NIGHTLY! VERY IMPORTANT!!! EACH PARK (F1 AND F2) HAS A SEPARATE ENTRANCE AND DRIVEWAY WITH THE SAME ADDRESS. SO, YOU MUST READ THE SPECIFIC DRIVING DIRECTIONS INTO EACH PARK. PLEASE TELL YOUR FRIENDS TOO IF THEY'RE MEETING YOU HERE. THANK YOU!!! upon entering into either park, you won't be able to see people or dogs in F2 while you are in F1. Proud to be Sniffspots most popular park(s) with the most reviews. Read about us in the February 27, 2024 issue of Newsweek magazine, June 5, 2023 issue of Womens World Magazine, and the Business Insider's June 9, 2022 articles. You and your pups will love our very artistic boho farm! Mud free paved entrance and patio, extra picnic table, chairs and tables, swing, toys, night lighting til 10pm, light up collars/leashes upon request, disc golf basket, clean porta potty access, doggie poop bags hanging all around the field w/disposal cans! There's alot more to the 7 1/2 acre farm that makes it very unique. it's sort of like a rural "Portlandia". We've hosted dozens of weddings, parties, concerts, and reunions here in the past. Just inquire first letting me know how many cars there'd be. If too many cars for F1, then F2 will work out during dry months, as you can drive your cars right into the field. Hope to see you and your pups playing out here soon! We try very hard to remain the #1 spot between both parks, globally. Thank you for helping us achieve that by continuing to support us!! The Boring Barking Lot - Dog Park
PLEASE READ: Hi! My name is Theresa. I recently started my sniffspot and love sharing my property with you and your doggos to enjoy. We will provide you and your best friend ( friends) with two acres of fully fenced property for your dogs to run free! Part of the property is Forest, where your dogs can forage, roam amongst the trees, dig, or just take in all the smells. Our visitors tell us It's the best of both worlds with the woods to roam and open areas to play fetch or practice on some of the agility equipment . Our space is very peaceful and beautiful, with lots of texture. We have a shade (or rain) canopy with a picnic table under it, fresh water, toys, and poop bags. :) I have 3 dogs that roam the upper 2 acres of the property, which is my backyard. Sterling (border collie) Piper (border collie) and our newest member Wriggley ( husky mix) SHE was supposed to be a foster dog, but we fell in love with her... If your dogs roam up to the very edge of the Woods where the 4 acres are divided, you will most likely hear my pups if they are outside. We have placed a privacy material along the fencing so that the dogs will not be able to have any contact, but they will see shadows through the material. My pups may bark and run up and down the fence line as you play in the forest if they hear you. The property adjacent to us is the home of two nice dogs. If our neighbors let them into their back field, there is a chance you and your dog will hear them. If you have aggressive or reactive dogs, PLEASE give me a heads up. In most cases It is possible for me to bring my dogs in to avoid distractions in your play time. We hope to see you soon! Theresa

There are multiple large shaded sitting areas to relax, take a breath and simply enjoy the piece and serenity of this magical little hidden valley. A 10’x 10’ sand filled “Pup Dig Box” for those pups who just have a need to dig. A “Tug of War”spring loaded grab bar for pups who just like a really good tug of war. Multiple pup fresh water dispensers, with bowls for them. Multiple Doggie Poop Depots with poop bag dispensers for your convenience, no need to carry that around while you explore the 15 acres. A number of security cameras. We want to give you an easy opportunity to pick up and deposit your pups 🐶 poop. (Fair Warning. We must maintain a zero tolerance for any guest who is not diligent about picking up after their pup) A comprehensive Obstacle Course with most of the obstacles course pieces seen on U-Tube which is a good place to go learn how to train your pup to effectively use this course. If it’s at all possible the time sent learning this course and getting through it can bring pupils and parent even closer together. There are multiple Toy stations with a large variety of toys to select from (Please be considerate for the next guest by returning them back to the toy station after use). If you have any unused toys, please consider donating them for our pup guest to enjoy. This year and next we have a number of things that we will developing to add to what makes us a Dog Disney Land. The Dog Dock Diving Ramp is now half complete and we are told that the National Grand Champion who can jump 45 feet will be visiting us. The picnic area and parking area has been expanded to accommodate an increase in the number of Birthday parties, pup groups, and family gatherings, all of which are such a delight for us to see. The overnight guest sight is almost complete and should be an enjoyable experience to have the entire Tail Waggers park all to themselves for the duration of their reservation time. We have noticed an up tic of young children that are now accompanying their pup and parents, so we have started the development of a play area for their enjoyment. Down the road and going across the bridge to the urban agility course under development, you can look down and see a land ramp down to a little shallow play area for pups to safely acclimate to playing in water Continued development of our assortment of main trails and the smaller loop trails have been moving forward and provide an excellent alternative to the water park area during our monsoon season. These narrow loop trails that meander up and down across creeks and through natural tree arbors are such a treat for pups. Walking sticks are provided at each trail head for those guests who desire to use them. Each trail has direction signs and colored markings to prevent a guest from becoming lost. We have been adding solar string lighting around trees and ground areas to parking areas, the Ritz Carton Potty and ground areas. It’s a little bit of eye candy when seen at night.
