Description

Our dogs love running in "the field" and walking the trails, and playing hide and seek, so we decided to share it with you. Please enjoy our fully fenced 5-acre field and wooded area. We have opened up the back trails for exploration. We are constantly checking and working on to keep clear of large debris and overgrowth. The back section can get quite flooded especially after snow and rain, but you are welcome to explore and get muddy. We have a hose hooked up to the water in the field just in case. Right now and through summer it should be dry. We have added on a fire pit / s’mores add on option. Check it out for an even more relaxing experience by our camping fire pit. Please let us know what we can do to make it even better.

HOST NOTE

The forested area is a natural forest with fallen trees, stumps and lower areas where water pools after rain. Please be aware, be cautious, and enjoy. Boots or good hiking shoes are not a bad idea as there are lots of blackberries as well. One other potential hazard in our area is wildlife. While not common and only ever seen once on our property, and not in this area specifically, there are black bears and cougars. They are not likely to come around when dogs are out running and playing, but it is always wise to be mindful.

Fire pit and S’mores$10

A place for your pupper to roam, sniff and explore and a place for you to sit by the fire, make s’mores and relax. We provide a crate full of wood, a fire starter and a bag of smores fixins which includes 2 chocolate bars, a package of your choice, chocolate, cinnamon or regular graham crackers, a bag of marshmallows and roasting sticks to use. Shoot us a msg which flavor you’d like or it’ll be a surprise. 😊 This will be weather permitting. Windy conditions will cancel this offering.

Please park in front of the shed to the right as you come down the driveway. We have provided poo bags in many areas throughout the woods and usually by the poo bucket by the gate. Feel free to use what you need and put the collected landmines in the bucket on the way out.

Hello. My name is Tami. We live on a large property in north Blaine between Valley View and Delta Line. Just after the sign, turn onto Freedom Pl and take the middle driveway. Not gates and no codes needed. We have a huge field and forest that are fully fenced and ready for you and your floof to explore. We have trails cut in for a little hike in the woods and the field is perfect for a game of fetch. We are excited to have you come adventure here. We are in the process of getting the field fire pit ready to make your visit feel a bit like a little camp out. Our dogs love a good campfire.

We offer a farm setting open field with loads of room for both dogs and their people. Private fenced parking area off the street. Enter off 248 Street at 5245 248 Street. Our park is fully fenced with both big and small dogs in mind. We provide a water hose and bucket for dog’s drinking. We have added a permanent shelter from both sun and shade complete with a picnic table and seating for you. There is a play structure to keep your kids busy. For the dogs we have all sorts of fun games and parkour and agility equipment. Pause and training tables, weave poles, A frame, tunnel, barrel jump, balance stools, jumps, ground tires, teeter totter, picture opportunities, hose, pooper scooper. We compost waste so no bags needed. Just scoop and put into the provided bucket. Please do not leave your plastic poop bags here. We have no way to dispense of it. There is plenty of room to play ball or practice obedience. This is a farm setting but we are in a residential area so please cognizant of noise either by humans or dogs. It’s surrounded by trees for a nice private time. We look forward to hosting you!

Peaceful mini-retreat with field & woods

22+ acre property with 20 acres that is fully/securely fenced. The front half is an open field & orchard, the back is forested and has maintained trails throughout. There's covered seating in the field & woods, portapotty, drinking water station, toys etc - see amenities for more details. The seasonal ponds in the woods are quickly shrinking (dry by summer) but there are still muddy areas to explore so expect a dirty dog - rinse station on site, bring your own towels. Reservations are available up to 30 days in advance. Some days fill fast but plans can change & bookings get modified/canceled (2+hrs beforehand) - check back for an opening if interested. Thank you for being considerate of our space by reading and abiding by SS and spot specific rules and asking all who accompany you to do the same. First time visitors get an auto-message 2hrs beforehand with helpful info.

We may have dogs out in secured areas that bark. They will not be loose to visit at fence line. You can go to areas away from house if our dogs are barking.
