Leash-free trails, wild smells, and room to roam—just off the highway! 📍 Location & Setup • Easy access off ON-6, with private backyard/trail access for dogs. • Working hobby farm (hens, gardens)—pups must avoid spooking the chickens in the coop area. • Open-concept yard with no other guest dogs (fully private bookings). • Note: Main house on-site; owners present but won’t interrupt your visit. 🐕 Why Dogs Love It ✔ Wild forests behind the property—sniffari heaven! ✔ Trails to explore (behind chicken coop, marked trail entrance). ✔ Spacious yard for zoomies, bordered by trees. ✔ Farm smells (safe distance from livestock). ✔ Hose/water available for muddy paws. ⚠️ Rules & Safety • Please don't allow your dogs to spook the chickens. • Stay within bounds & avoid the neighbour’s property (marked by fence posts/tree line). • Leash policies: Off-leash allowed. • Clean up: Bring you own poop bags. • Hot tub/BBQ/cabin/outdoor shower: These are off limits, and are meant for our Airbnb only. 🌲 Nature Notes • Wildlife/insects possible. • Trails are open-concept and unsecured. • Winter: Trails may be snowy/icy/muddy; booties recommended for sensitive paws. 🚗 Practical Info • Parking: Park in the front by the country store. • Country Store: Seasonally open to purchase snacks, drinks, eggs. Due to the surrounding woods it is expected that turkey, coyote, fox, skunks, porcupine, hawks, raccoon, possum, bears, stink bugs, beetles, ants, flies, ladybugs, mosquitoes and spiders all exist in the wilderness around us. We don't own any dogs. We do have chickens in an enclosed pen on site.
