45This was a nice, large space for your furry friend to let off some steam. Well maintained and inviting. My dog, being highly reactive, had a couple issues by no fault of the spot owner. It is in a neighborhood with homes right next door and behind the space. We have a Sniffspot we had grown into that was in the country and it was perfect, unfortunately they had to shut it down for a bit so this was a new place for us. The house next door had their dog tied up out front right where we enter the yard. So that was a big issue. There was also lots of distractions in the neighborhood that made it hard for Hank to relax and have fun. Again, this is not the owners fault and it would be a great space for MANY other dogs. But for my highly reactive, neurotic pain in the ass pup, there was just too much going on for him to let loose and have fun. I would recommend this space to those of you with laid back dogs with no reactivity. But if you have reactive pups or pups that have issues with other dogs it may be uncomfortable for them.
35We had my puppy’s first birthday party at Caroline’s. It was fun and she’s a great hostess but we were constantly worried and vigilant because the dogs might jump or fall off the very tall retaining wall around the picnic table area. If it had fencing around the top of the wall, I would give her more stars.
