In the spring and summer, humans and dogs can enjoy the view of the perennial butterfly garden that lines the yard.🌿 Feel free to use the black garbage cans in the alley to dispose of bagged waste. Easy and free street parking **We strive to keep our yard clean for our family and yours. Please note that in the case of same day or late night scheduling, we will likely not have the ability to do a pre visit walkthrough to ensure that the yard is 100% poop free When we catch the reservation in time and are available, we are ON IT! We have an abundance of city bunnies that play in our gardens at night and you might see some evidence of their travels through our yard. We do our best to stay on top of bunny pellets. Niles/Park Ridge Fully Fenced Yard For Dogs To Rent
Our large, private yard features ample grass as well as a concrete patio to help keep your dog’s nails filed! Our yellow lab’s favorite spot is in the back, by the wheelbarrow and some logs. That’s where he does his best “sniffing”! Please feel free to have a seat at our glass-top picnic table and use the umbrella to block any sun. If you’d like to sit on one of our comfy swivel chairs, we just ask that you re-cover it when done. The cushions are super thick and we want to keep them nice for our guests! We have tennis balls and other toys and please feel free to use the sprinkler if your dog enjoys it!

Notice: We are closing the spot on May 23rd for maintenance. Sorry for the inconvenience. Grass and rain: Please keep in mind that during moderate to heavy rains the area without mulch can get muddy. Beginning May of 2024, we will post pictures daily to our Instagram account showing the condition of the spot. As you can imagine, due to the wear and tear the spot gets, it’s difficult to keep the grass alive. However, we do our best to reseed during the spring. BarkPark sits right across the street from The Salvation Army Freedom Center. This spot is fully fenced (chain link and wood) with the side facing the sidewalk being 5ft and the rest of the fence being 6ft. There is a dual-gate entrance to the spot for a safe entry and exit. Street parking is available. There is plenty of seating at this spot with shade throughout the day. There's a rain barrel filled with water for dogs to hydrate and cool down. We have water bowls available. GIANT sandbox that's great for digging and playing; no digging elsewhere please. On hot days, we do our best to keep the sand wet. Trash can onsite. We have poop bags available in two different areas for easy access. Half of this spot is covered with grass and the other half with playground mulch. This spot is big enough to get a good fetch session in or to just let the zoomies out. We also recently added agility equipment. We hope you and your four-legged friend/s have an exceptional time during your visit and choose to come back. Lost toys and items: Due to the amount of visits we get we aren’t able to track which items belong to which guest. If you’ve lost a dog toy or other item, please reach out and we’ll do our best to retrieve it and hold it for you. If you don’t reach out, we’ll hold onto it for a week and then add it to the Lost and Found Toy Box. Water: The dog drinking water gets changed 1-2 times per week, depending on the temperature/usage. During the winter months we empty the water barrel. If your dog/s require water during the winter months, we ask that you please bring your own. Food: You’re welcomed to bring food but we ask that you please clean up as a courtesy to other guests. Future additions: We hope to add more amenities over time. Our plans are to add more sand to the sandbox in late April or early May of 2024. We’re also hoping to have on-site parking around mid summer of 2024. If you have any suggestions for amenities, we’d love to hear your feedback.

Tiva's Green City Space(FREE private parking)
To decrease traffic we have increased our pricing because the grass is struggling with wear/tear. If you have a history of using our yard we want your dog to still get to come play! So please send a message & we will send you a discount code. We just need to start planning for planting grass etc. We LOVE sharing our space with multiple dogs from the community however, it is hard on the grass. For this reason, we have limited our evening and some weekend availability to Members Only to decrease the wear and tear on the yard. With the fluctuation in weather please be aware: If outdoor parks are wet and muddy ~ areas of our yard will be also. We cannot control the effects of rain. WATER: Due to freezing temperatures all water features have been removed for the season. Clean water bowls will be provided, but please bring your own water for the time being. Thank you for understanding. Please always use the provided carabiner to lock the gate as pictured after you and your dog(s) enter. We have installed multiple methods of LIGHTING for evening reservations. Easy instructions for use will be sent when you make the reservation. We do have a SHADE/RAIN SHELTER! :) PARKING: One FREE private parking space located at the entrance from the alley at the back of the lot. Since some guests were having a tough time with the parking space, we did WIDEN the entrance. We park 2 Honda CRV's back there daily without issue. Fully fenced 6 foot secure and private green space. Large open lot with seating and plenty of room to play fetch or just relax off leash. Easy street parking, no permit required. Any Extras will be located in the storage bin on the east wall of the lot. We have evening hours 6:30p to 9:30p for Members Only, 7 days per week.

Planet Paws playground is part of our canine enrichment center. It’s a unique venue designed specifically to provide your dog with opportunities to work their brains, gain confidence, experience different surfaces and enjoy a nice swim in our swimming pool. ***** NOTE : Effective July 8th our spot will have a new rate, the demand has been so high that we had to hire someone to make sure the spot is up to our standards each time before a visitor comes in. We also had to upgrade the filter in order to be able to maintain a crystal clear water with the less amount of chemicals as possible. Should you have a reservation on the calendar after July 8th and Sniffspot honors your current rate we will honor that as well. Otherwise, be aware that new rate will apply effective July 8th. ******************

Maureen & Dan's Dog Yard in Peterson Woods
Enjoyed by our dogs for 15 years, our yard is a good size for zoomies, grass naps, and squirrel & bird watching. We have a table with comfy chairs and a kiddie pool. A crate of our guardian angel’s toys await your pooch. The neighbors on each side are dog free. You can spend time without a barking contest ensuing.

March update-the yard is a soggy mess, even with the straw. Shutting off reservations so that it doesn’t become a complete mud pit and so we can repair/replace the grass rather quickly when real spring arrives. Large yard right on the river. No access to the river (yard is fully fenced), but human views of the water, ducks, other birds, and wildflowers on the bank. Pesticide, and herbicide, free lawn but various flowers, shrubs (and weeds) on the edges. Lots of wildlife in the area. Birds visit, bunnies, squirrels, etc. more than your average Chicago yard. End of dead end with pretty good privacy. There are 3 big dogs at the house across the alley, but they are also well fenced. They are out on occasion, but usually not for long and I can’t guarantee their schedule. The view is mostly blocked by garbage cans and bushes, but not completely, so this may not be the place if your pup is super reactive. There are 2 Adirondack chairs, feel free to move around into sun or shade or lay out a blanket or whatever you need to be comfortable. There is stainless steel water bowl and some toys. Feel free to use the hose by the stairs to fill up the water bowl hose the dogs off or whatever. You can pull it out into the middle of the yard, just put your foot on top of the reel to get better leverage and please reel back in after use. Chain link fence on most and iron fence at front. Not ideal for small dogs or escape artists that can squeeze under or through fence. See photos for details of fence and if your dog would try to squeeze through.
