Visit our family-friendly sniff spot in the lovely West Slope neighborhood! This space is great for all types of dogs and is perfect for owners who want to relax, play or train. Our spot offers a large area of open grass (mud patches if wet) ideal for running or playing fetch. We have a large trampoline that you may use but please, no dogs allowed on it. Our tiny home is available exclusively to guests! Stay warm, dry, and comfortable with complimentary hot/cold drinks, human snacks and private seating throughout your booking. Reserved parking available right at the entrance for maximum convenience.

Sauvie Island Farm #2 Shady Acres

This is our second spot. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU GO TO THE RIGHT SPOT. Sauvie Island Farm #2 ‘shady acres’ is a fully fenced area in the back of our farm, cool and shady for these summer days. Plenty of sniffs, eagles, rabbits, deer, and other wildlife. Great views. Private. Some farm machinery and active farm fields will be visible. It is accessed by driving through the main gate to the house, and then following the signs slowly to the back pasture. It does not require 4WD. Hiking shoes or hiking boots are best here. Let us know if you have any trouble.

Fully-Fenced, Peaceful and Private Yard In Cully

Come enjoy a safe, private spot for your dog to run and play. We have a shade shelter, chairs, treats and water. Feel free to pick a few fresh apples, pears, or figs from our trees during your visit when they are available! Please note: We did add some cameras by the driveway and porch as part of our home security system installation but footage will only only reviewed in the event of an incident.

El's Fully Fenced Dog Yard 🐕

Fully fenced yard with short grass. Includes a fire pit and is very well lit at night. Great for a date night with the pups or hang by the fire with a couple friends. BYO fire wood. Dogs must be leashed when entering or exiting.

**UPDATE 10/2-Our damaged fence is repaired! We are fully fenced and open for bookings beginning Friday 10/3! Feel free to book your visits! *During the evening of 9/27 someone drove their vehicle over the curb and through/along our fence line. They damaged 115 ft of our fence pretty badly, and then fled the scene unfortunately. 😭 We are looking for the person who did this. Their car has to be damaged pretty badly along the front, front side, and one side of their car, and their side mirror came off and would be missing from their car. We found a piece of their car that also came off and were able to identify the car as an older Ford model, 1990-2005. If you have any information, please reach out. They’re usually well-hidden, but if your pup uncovers a nest, please cover it back up. If you see a baby wander out, gently place it back and redirect your dog. The bunnies have no scent, which helps protect them from predators, so dogs usually don’t notice them unless they spot movement. • Weather Reminder: Some of the trails and low areas get muddy in rainy weather. We’ve added wood chips in many spots to help, but we recommend hiking boots 🥾 and dressing accordingly so you and your pup can fully enjoy your adventure. Tryon Creek Oasis (New: Private Parking!)

Hello! We can now offer private parking in our driveway! Our property is located on a steep, one lane, dead-end winding road. You will end up in our driveway. Please park in front of the Sniffspot sign located on the left garage door. The arrow will lead you down some stone steps to a metal gate. Please use caution when walking down the steps, they can be muddy and slippery from the fallen wet leaves. Our spot is mostly naturalized, hilly, muddy, and pretty rugged so please wear appropriate shoes and watch your step. We hope to have you as a guest soon! 😊

Mitchell 40 Acre Parcel - Spot 2

Beautiful secluded 40 acre piece of vacant forested land, with a creek that winds thru the length of the property. There is a well maintained gravel hiking road the stretches the length of the property and is approx a 3/4 of a mile long and crosses the Creek. There are Hiking trails run along both sides of the gravel road, with several additional hiking trails that cross and run along the creek and meander thru the woods (bring your hiking shoes :).

Mookie's Magic Meadows

Hello I am Mookie, a Golden Doodle who loves to play ball and my Human is Grace. She got me this place with a long yard, perfect for playing with a chuck it! I begged for a pug and she let me have Frankie. We are happy to share our yards which have different areas for different Dog needs. Human needs can be taken care of too. We are relatively new to Sniffspot and will be adding new features as we go. Our pictures show how much we have changed since we opened the very snowy end of January. Frankie and I will not be coming out to visit your dogs, but once you leave we will enjoy learning about them on our scent hunt. We believe this will create a lot of interest and fun for us and for your special family members too. A little info about my place, I have safe space to unload and load the doggos. Important to close the gate as you enter and exit the property. Everywhere is fenced. It is 2 acres total, the area that you will be playing in is a very nice long field with a small pool which gets changed between guests, and a larger one that My human adds water to between guests. it looks dirty, however, it is from the sand box and dirt hills that my human made for the dogs to play in. It is too large for her to clean after each guest. There is a water hose with a shower head that you can use for play and clean up as well. Added attraction, MOLES and we love sniffing after them. Be watchful of holes that my human missed filling between guests, she tries very hard to find them, but Frankie is a digger! This is a place for fun , everything is not perfect , but the yard is a lot of fun for Frankie and also for me! We love to explore and sometimes we see deer here and other wild animals! UPDATE: All fences are secure. IF for some reason your dog slips out the farm gate entrance to the sniff spot, the entire property is fenced, and your dog will not get out. There is a shade canopy which will protect from the rain and some chairs to relax in. You may encounter holes because dogs love to dig in the soft turf and the hill of dirt, please let me know if you find some that my human and I have not gotten filled between visits and she will fix that! With so many trees, there will be branches down. I find that the dogs love to pick through those sticks. I try to keep on top of the really big ones, but if you see any let my human know. PLEASE NOTE: If your ball or other toys go over the fence, they now belong to my neighbor! PLEASE You must not go over the fence to get them!! I have other balls and will be happy for you to use them while here, if they go over, I can deal with him later! Thank you for your consideration of my neighbors.
