From a gate at the driveway, walk up a small hill to access a large space for playing! To the right there is a covered porch with swings, tables, chairs, an outlet, doggy towels, and a basket of extras for guests. There is a children’s swing set, playhouse, sandbox, soccer goal, and slide available to play with. Additional seating for the yard is available to set up if you’d like! WiFi password is posted on the table. We love our backyard and hope you enjoy it too! Smoking cigarettes is allowed on the porch, but please use the provided ash tray.

Please come let your pups run around in our large Lakeside yard! Our 3 pups (sometimes 4 if we have a foster) love all the open space, so we hope yours will too. We will try to always leave a towel and some little treats up on the deck, so you’re more than welcome to help yourself to anything up there! There should be a bucket of toys, poop baggies in a ziploc bag that are likely inside of the weatherproof tub by the deck stairs, a pooper scooper and a hose etc, so please feel free to use any of it as needed.

We have a 5 acre OFF LEASH area available, and an ON LEASH walking trail in the back of our property. We are pleased to invite you and your dog to our lovely fully fenced in area on our 12 acre property in the countryside of Montpelier, VA. 30 min from downtown Richmond, VA - come escape to the quiet and tranquil area we have set up and fenced off for dogs. An additional nature area for walking is available in the back; however, dogs MUST be leashed in this area, as it is not fully fenced back there. Walking trails have been cut and wildlife is often seen in our little sanctuary. Please be mindful of neighbors and leave the area as you found it. There are also plenty of sticks to chew and squirrels to chase! For human guests. We’ve got everything you need to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Outdoor chairs, a fan, a hammock, shade, sun, bug spray, poop bags, and speaker are all provided. Our neighborhood is known for its tranquility and we respect your privacy. **Just a friendly reminder: please don’t jump on the trampoline.** Here are some additional details about our yard: - Private gate entrance and ample space to spread out. - Our dog stays indoors and won’t be a nuisance during your visit. - Friendly neighbor dogs next door can be heard but not seen.
