Welcome to the Walnut Grove! This private, fully fenced 1.2-acre property is a peaceful spot for your pup to run, sniff, and explore. Shaded by beautiful walnut trees (plus a cherry and peach tree—feel free to enjoy some fruit if it's ripe!), the grove offers plenty of room for play and relaxation. You'll find an old-fashioned hand-pump well on site with fresh water—just bring a little elbow grease! A water bowl or bucket will be available nearby, and I’ll do my best to have it filled before you arrive. There's also a fire pit if you'd like to enjoy a cozy moment—just bring your own firewood and let me know if you plan to use it. The terrain is natural and a bit uneven in places, but we keep it mowed. Please be mindful of nature’s visitors—occasional bees or even a curious snake may pass through. Plenty of sticks are scattered around for chewing fun, and the mature trees provide lots of shade for hot days. Malta Bend is a quiet little farming town, perfect for a peaceful getaway from the city. You'll find a trash can and shovel on site for poop pickup—we appreciate your help in keeping the grove clean for all visitors. Grab your little buddy and their favorite ball for some fun times on this beautiful property! We own 47 acres of woods with 3 acres of grass nestled within. A gated driveway and lots of trees create a barrier from the road and woods. A refreshing water hydrant is on site as well!

Please park at the top of the hill of our drive or all the way down onto the concrete pad of our driveway. Please do not block the first and second garage. If you plan to take the trail around the lake, please note that it is a work in progress and there is some discarded material from before we owned the land. There are breaks in the fence around the trail, so a leash is recommended for dogs with less training. You may enter the backyard from the gate at the end of the concrete pad.

We are a licensed dog boarding and daycare kennel established out of our walk out basement in a nature setting in mid-Missouri. We have a 2,800 sqft fenced yard equipped with agility equipment and puppy playgrounds. The fence has a dog park double gate entrance. There is an acre of yard and woods with a small trail winding through. If it's raining, the dry creek fills up with water. Inside we have an indoor tire obstacle course, slatmill, elevated beds, toys, a TV, and more. Entrance indoors would depend if your dog is friendly towards other dogs and if you can provide current proof of vaccinations.
