NEW!! The spot is now lit past 4:30! So you can book later in the day during the week. Cute shady yard with high quality agility equipment, ready for your pup to enjoy! The yard is always private for the person booking. I will let you know if there is someone booked right before of after your booking to avoid contact between dogs between bookings. Available obstacles: - 8ft A frame (almost regulation height), - Adjustable see saw (can be set to regulation height), - 2x high quality PVC tunnels (10ft & 15ft long), - 2x 6 pole weave poles (adjustable channel type), - 4x jumps with wing standards. NEW!! Hoopers equipment now available: - 8x Hoops - 1x barrel - 2x "wall"

If you think they're ready to put their skills to the test, this option simulated a full course adapted to the requested difficulty. (Benninger, Intermediate and Advanced) The advanced course is 18 obstacles long and has several complex elements, the seesaw will be set to competition height. There will be a course map at the entrance that you can take with you to the patio area to look over and plan your strategy, and the course will feature obstacle numbers on the ground.

Agility course (Beginner)3 credits

If you think they're ready to put their skills to the test, this option simulated a full course adapted to the requested difficulty. (Benninger, Intermediate and Advanced) The beginner course is 10 obstacles long and is simple with no backside jumps, and the seesaw set to the lowest height. There will be a course map at the entrance that you can take with you to the patio area to look over and plan your strategy, and the course will feature obstacle numbers on the ground.

Intro to agility coaching10 credits

I am offering a quick into to agility crash course (20 minutes of coaching) this is a great option for beginners! You will learn: How to direct your dog towards obstacles (body positioning and communication with your dog). How each obstacle needs to be performed including jumps (in both directions), the tunnel, the A frame, the weave poles and the see saw. Once you have an idea of the basics of agility, you are all set to start practicing those basics on your own with your dog.

NEW! Hoopers Equipment Setup3 credits

I now offer a small Hoopers course setup with 8 hoops, 2 tunnels and a barrel (Agility equipment will still be available to use but the jumps will be put aside and the hoops and barrels will be up instead) Hoopers is a low impact version of agility (good for puppies, old dogs or dogs who are recovering from an injury), and is also a good way for dogs to learn the techniques used in agility.

For dogs just starting out who might not be ready for agility yet, or if you’re just interested in a simpler, more low-impact sport, this option is for you! I am offering a quick into to hoopers class (20 minutes of coaching) this is a great option for beginners where you will learn to direct your dog through a series of hoops and around barrels and through tunnels. This sport focuses on distance handling and teaches your dog confidence and independence.

Scent work treasure hunt!5 credits

Interested in a fun activity to do together with your dog? I’m offering a scent based treasure hunt where your dog has to use their nose to find (and show you) a hidden object that contains a special reward! Dogs who have already done odor detection classes: the hidden object will have your choice of wintergreen or Pine. For dogs who have not done odor detection before: I will hide your choice between a piece of cheese or beef liver.

The yard is fully fenced with a locking gate. There is a lawn area, mulch area with a garden, and a gravel area. There are 2 seating areas (one covered and one uncovered), and a hammock. There is a small waterfall with fresh untreated water that dogs like to wade through and drink from (the catch pond is a bit too small for swimming, though). There is a hose and sprinkler available. It's ideal for small or medium dogs (although friends with large golden doodles and our late German Shepherd had plenty of room to chase a ball and do their zoomies)!
