Description
Dog Park Rules • Park is closed from Dark until Dawn • Aggressive and unruly dogs must be removed from Dog Park immediately. • Handlers and their dogs enter the Dog Park at their own risk. • Dogs must be attended at all times, and handlers must always carry a leash. • Dogs must be leashed when entering and exiting the park. • Dogs can be off leash in the dog park. • Choke, prong, pinch and spike collars must be removed inside the park area. • Handlers must quickly clean up after their dogs (Plastic Bags and Containers are provided) Ordinance 4-103: Sanitation; • Dogs must be in general good health and wearing a current rabies tag. Ordinance 4-124: Tags • No person shall abandon an animal on private or public property per Ordinance 4-144: Abandonment • Handlers must be at least 18 years or older (unless accompanied by an adult). • For their own safety, Children under the age of 10 years old must have Adult Supervision in the Dog Park area. • Limit of two dogs per handler. • Dogs in heat prohibited. • Puppies must be at least six months old with immunizations and tag. • For health reasons, persons inside the Dog Park must wear shoes. • No food, rawhides, tobacco, alcohol or glass containers please (training treats are permitted) • Fill in any holes your dog may dig or make appropriate repairs to disturbed areas. • Small dog area is limited to dogs of 30 pounds or less. Handicapped or elderly larger dogs are also allowed in this area.
