We are fully fenced in park with many amenities. We are located on semi private dead end road and is usually pretty peaceful. We are not far from Interstate 77, Pleasant City exit, near Seneca Lake area. It's a great place to go if traveling with your dog & need a break! We have an on-site cabin bathroom too!

Straightfork Farm

Our Sniffspot has been referred to as Dog Heaven. We are in a remote area in the Appalachian Foothills of SE Ohio. We have farm roads, mowed trails and open fields you and your dog can enjoy, but the favorite place for most dogs is our pond. Our pond features a dock that dogs love to jump off of. There is also a large covered pavilion with tables and chairs. A basket of water toys is next to the dock. There is an outhouse there and well, it is primitive, but clean (unless the mice make nests, but I try to keep ahead of that) In dry weather the pond is accessible by vehicle but it is also a good walk for people and dogs, about 1/2 a mile from the parking area (and mostly uphill). This pavilion also has our "Sugar Shack" attached, which is where we boil down maple sap in February and March to make syrup. The Maple Grove is up a trail above the pond. **My dogs swim in this pond most days in the spring, summer & fall. The pond has an aerator and also is treated with Pond Blue, both of which help to eliminate the possibility of dangerous algae blooms. There is also no fertilization of fields that could run off into the pond. **

Hickory Hollow Private Dog Park In Strasburg

We have one full acre fully fenced with 4' high goat/sheep woven wire fencing. About 1/3 of it is open grassy field and the other 2/3 is nice shady woods. We in the process of over seeding the field to make the grass more lush this spring. We have added a few surprises down in the woods to make it more fun for our guests and their fur babies. There is an open lean-to where there are dog toys like frisbees and balls availble. There is also be a cute backdrop as a photo op for the dogs.

Beautiful spot with lots of wide open spaces for big runs and fun things to sniff. Lots of toys provided, as well as a kiddy pool with fresh water changed daily to keep your pups cool in the summer. Look for the big rock with the address number on it, come all the way up the driveway, park near the basketball hoop, then bring the dog(s) through the gate between the barn and the house. Please note one section of the yard has chickens. They are well protected in a sturdy coop; your dog(s) won’t be able to get to them. But if you are worried about their reactivity, that section of the yard is in the back, and it will start off with the gate closed, your dog won’t see them. But if you’re not worried about it or unsure, you’re welcome to open the gate to that portion of the yard, the chickens will still be secured.
