Dog Run Rules • Please be sure your dog can interact safely with people and other dogs. • NO dogs without people. NO people without dogs. • Our runs are not a playground for children. There is a playground for children up the hill from the runs. Dogs are not allowed there. • All dogs must be licensed and wear a collar or harness. (No spiked collars) Leashes must be removed. • All dogs must be properly vaccinated and be free of communicable disease. • All dogs over six months should be neutered or spayed. • It is the owner’s responsibility to see that their dog is not aggressive or injures another dog. • If your dog gets into a fight or injures another dog, exchange contact information with the other owner and remove your dog from the run. • Owners should not bring food into the runs as it can cause problems. Treats should only be given to your own dog as others might have allergies. • No toys except standard size tennis balls should be played with to prevent fights or swallowing of undersized toys. • There is a “RULE BOX” in each run. Please take a sheet and read the welcome and complete rules. • REMEMBER, you might have the perfect dog, but there are others in the run.

Tiny apartment? The dog run won't work for you? Visit one of the only Sniffspots in Manhattan to let your dog stretch his legs, do some zoomies, and help homeless pups in the process! We have a large open space for your dog to run and play, a bathroom for your use, poop bags and cleaning supplies for accidents, and you can help yourself to available dog toys! Muddy Paws Rescue takes in over 1,000 dogs every year from shelters in NYC and other states (but don't worry, they all live in foster care so your pup can have the place to themselves!). By bringing your pup to our Sniffspot, your rental fee will go entirely towards our operations, helping to cover the cost of medical care, treats, toys, food, and so much more. Our spot is a private fenced in rooftop that is approximately 500 square feet in East Williamsburg. Enjoy comfy couches, a hammock chair, tables and WiFi during your stay. We provide dog toys, water, treats and a shaded dog bed. Everyone and every pup is welcome here! Keep in mind the rooftop gets full sun on sunny days. There is an umbrella, but it doesn’t shade the whole space. Accessibility: It is 4 flights of stairs to get to the rooftop. The building does not have an elevator. We live 1 flight down and love dogs! We have a 10 year old Pittie mix named Cocoa. She loves all humans, but not so much dogs, so she’ll stay in our apartment during your rental.
