Visit our family-friendly sniff spot in the lovely West Slope neighborhood! This space is great for all types of dogs and is perfect for owners who want to relax, play or train. Our spot offers a large area of open grass (mud patches if wet) ideal for running or playing fetch. We have a large trampoline that you may use but please, no dogs allowed on it. Our tiny home is available exclusively to guests! Stay warm, dry, and comfortable with complimentary hot/cold drinks, human snacks and private seating throughout your booking. Reserved parking available right at the entrance for maximum convenience.

Hello! We can now offer private parking in our driveway! Our property is located on a steep, one lane, dead-end winding road. You will end up in our driveway. Please park in front of the Sniffspot sign located on the left garage door. The arrow will lead you down some stone steps to a metal gate. Please use caution when walking down the steps, they can be muddy and slippery from the fallen wet leaves. Our spot is mostly naturalized, hilly, muddy, and pretty rugged so please wear appropriate shoes and watch your step. We hope to have you as a guest soon! 😊

Feel free to book your visits! *During the evening of 9/27 someone drove their vehicle over the curb and through/along our fence line. They damaged 115 ft of our fence pretty badly, and then fled the scene unfortunately. 😭 We are looking for the person who did this. Their car has to be damaged pretty badly along the front, front side, and one side of their car, and their side mirror came off and would be missing from their car. We found a piece of their car that also came off and were able to identify the car as an older Ford model, 1990-2005. If you have any information, please reach out. They’re usually well-hidden, but if your pup uncovers a nest, please cover it back up. If you see a baby wander out, gently place it back and redirect your dog. The bunnies have no scent, which helps protect them from predators, so dogs usually don’t notice them unless they spot movement. • Weather Reminder: Some of the trails and low areas get muddy in rainy weather. We’ve added wood chips in many spots to help, but we recommend hiking boots 🥾 and dressing accordingly so you and your pup can fully enjoy your adventure. Sauvie Island Farm #2 Shady Acres

This is our second spot. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU GO TO THE RIGHT SPOT. Sauvie Island Farm #2 ‘shady acres’ is a fully fenced area in the back of our farm, cool and shady for these summer days. Plenty of sniffs, eagles, rabbits, deer, and other wildlife. Great views. Private. Some farm machinery and active farm fields will be visible. It is accessed by driving through the main gate to the house, and then following the signs slowly to the back pasture. It does not require 4WD. Hiking shoes or hiking boots are best here. Let us know if you have any trouble.

We've got two chiweenies who can get around easily in our large backyard. It's fully fenced on all 4 sides, and there is seating for up to 5 people. Dogs can enjoy running on the grass, laying in the sun, and sniffing all the flowers.
