Sometimes

Our neighbor's dog is sometimes in their yard. He's a barker, but friendly and also well-secured behind their fence, separated from us by a driveway. 🐶 We also have resident dogs outdoors who are available for "extra" socialization. Otherwise, they're kenneled out of sight during your visit

Description

Large, open play space, perfect for dogs of all sizes to get a go at opening it up a little! Give those cooped-up legs a well-earned stretch to run and chase at their hearts' desire!

Cleanliness

93% of guests said this spot was as clean as expected during their visit.

Hazards

A tree fell in the yard so there is some excess shrubbery in parts of the lawn near the felled tree -Side deck is colorful with lots of seating, space and a doggy bed but no shade. Also, chickens are visible from here. -Front porch has rocking chairs, ammenities, and the 'extras' for guests when purchased. A pallet gate is in place here to block access to our side yard. If your dogs tend to chew on furniture or rugs please keep an eye on them while on the porch because there are loose decorations n such - Lastly, we have an active mole, so there will be dirt mounds (we collect for soil) that may look like there's a horse on property... We promise, there isn't lol Thank you!

Welcome to my whimsical and woodsy play place in the city. The Shire is a large, happy go lucky yard that reflects seasonal changes with its varying colors and foliage.🌼🪻 Always spacious enough for fetching and endless zumiez, it also offers hide-aways, bushes and trees for the adventurous, sniffy pups to explore. Dogs in-training will enjoy the safety of full fencing as they learn how to both play independently and respond to our typical surroundings of occasional winged🦜, wheeled🛞 and pawfoot🐾 traffic. This 2yr old sniff spot is also a spot in-training with growth and improvements being worked on every season. I welcome feedback to help make every visit a most FUN-furred experience for all our dogs and their fun-loving families!

Montana's 5 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Camas

Fully Fenced
5 acres

Just reopened. Please read ALL descriptions (including photos) before entering property. Failure to do so will result in being blocked, as this is to keep you, your dogs, and my dogs and babies safe :)! Return the toys and balls to where you found them, to the best of your ability. 5 acres is a lot of ground to cover. Losing a ball or three is no big deal, but deliberately not picking up after yourself is rude. Please leave the place as you found it. Don’t knock on my doors, and do not ask me for my phone number, unless it is an emergency! If there is an emergency I will assist to the best of my ability, and I do offer a pet first aid kit (bleed stop, staple gun, antimicrobrial wound spray, etc). We have 3 separate fields. Black berry bushes are very present in all fields. FIELD 1: Closest to busy road, least suitable for free-roam incase of delivery or neighbor utilizing third gate on easement. I consider this field “the buffer zone”. Best suited for dogs with proper recall skills, or for those who want to hide biodegradable items in the rock piles to be found. Orange flags indicate boundaries with a buffer to prevent trespassing onto neighboring property back into the woods. There are times when I have to leave or enter the property, which I will notify you if this is to happen during your visit. Our three dogs will be heard from this field (from inside of the house). You will find the 2nd gate entrance here, into field 2. Look for the black garbage can, as well as blue kiddy pool to navigate to field 2. FIELD 2: the best field! Our backyard. It is completely fenced in, private, and safe for dogs 15lbs and up- smaller dogs such as our 9lb dog need to wear a device to recall because fencing is large enough for them to escape through. The fencing is approximately 3’ high. Horses can be seen from this field on neighbor’s property, along with their dog, Cooper. It is sloped, which is excellent for exercise! There are trees blocking our house and windows for privacy, easy gate access, and accessible water. There is a nice view of Mt. Hood, and a couple of log benches around the property. I try my best to maintain and refresh a kiddy pool and the water bowl. I strongly recommend against use of field 3 during foggy periods for safety of your pets. Should a dog without proper recall training decide to wander off in field 3, you will have a LOT of ground to cover without much sight distance (on foggy days). Water access is in field 1 by the house, please turn off with hose in “on” position to prevent built-up water pressure in the hose. Field 3: this is an excellent field for dogs with recall skills. Through the first two fields, is field 3, a property long and flat, one which openly borders our neighbor’s property. You must go through the gate at the bottom of field 2 to enter this field. While this field is technically entirely fenced, the entire property is not all ours, so we have marked boundaries using orange flags. Please reference photos for what these orange boundary flags look like. The orange flags indicate hazards along fence line, entrance to bee hives, and boundaries between properties. Close each gate behind you. Cautions: Coyotes frequent this lower field on a weekly basis, so large dogs with proper recall training are advised only. I strongly recommend against use of this field during foggy periods for safety of your pets. Should a dog without proper recall training decide to wander off, you will have a LOT of ground to cover without much sight distance. Also, coyotes tend to be more active during these foggy periods. This field (field 3) is a split property (2 parcels), half ours, half theirs. The neighboring owners have bee hives! Please be mindful of bees, and maintaining general boundaries (see photos of orange flags designating boundary lines). It’s quite rugged, so be mindful of wild animal scat, mole holes, and uneven grass. There is a digging area here too. DO NOT allow your dogs to dig in the mini gardens please! I have seen coyotes, skunks, deer, owls, a feral cat, and bunnies in this field. Horses and neighbor dog cooper are sometimes visible. Please contact me with any questions!
