Description
• Dogs must be current on all vaccinations • Dogs must have a current Palm Beach County dog license. • No more than three (3) dogs per person. • Dogs must be leashed when entering and exiting the facility. • For the safety of your dog(s) and other visitors, choke, prong (pinch) and spike collars are strictly prohibited. If you use these types of collars, remove them before entering the facility. • No child under the age of 12 is permitted unless accompanied by an adult. • Aggressive dogs are not permitted on the premises. Dogs must be removed at the first sign of aggression. • Female dogs in heat are prohibited from entering the facility. • Puppies under 4 months of age are not permitted. They are still susceptible to disease, even if they have had their shots. • Dog owners must be inside the facility and in view of their dogs at all times. • All off - leash dogs must be under voice control of their owners. If you cannot control your dog off leash, keep your pet leashed at all times. • Dog owners are asked to keep their dog leash in hand at all times. • No food, treats, alcoholic beverages, (soft drinks and water are allowed), strollers, bicycles,, or children’s toys are allowed. This is a recreation facility for dogs accompanied by their owners. • Owners are to clean up their dog feces. Seal waste in the provided plastic bags before disposing in designated receptacles. • Fill any holes your dog digs, • Proof of a current vaccination and license is required upon request of a sheriff deputy or animal control officer. Tags may serve as proof. (ordinance #137). • Commercial/Professional dog training is not permitted unless approved by the Village. • No animals other than dogs are permitted. • Failure to abide by the above rules are subject to removal and may result in the loss of privileges. • All incidents and injuries must be reported to the Parks and Recreation Department by calling: (561)790-5124 weekdays; 8:00am-5:00pm.
