Fencing details: The fencing is 3’ and 4’ no climb horse fencing which is a 2”x4” mesh grid. I have a small dog that doesn’t escape this fence but you will want to watch your pup for digging to ensure they do not dig out!

Description

Happy Apple Dog Park-AKA Gus’ Park is a fully fenced yard with lawn and some bark dust, There multiple shrubs, trees and plants for your furry companion to check out. A farm favorite are the giant oak trees which provide shade. Feel free to take a seat and watch your friend run and explore! On site we have a small dog (23lbs) and a multiple cats as well as three horses. The neighbors on both sides have dogs but there is no contact-just line of sight! Come enjoy Gus’ favorite spot!

This is an add on for someone wanting to host a picnic or small party for up to 15 human guests. Please add this extra if you are wanting to utilize this spot for a mostly “non-dog” gathering! This add on includes parking for up to 4 vehicles. Please ensure that you are monitoring your dogs during these mostly human gatherings! We are here for the dogs mostly…but understand that this is a good opportunity to gather with your friends! Please contact me if you have any questions!

Hi! I am mom to two horses, 6+ cats and to my precious little dog Gus. They are my heart and family! The little dog in my profile picture is Maggie, who we love just as much as ours when she is here! We take care of her several times a year for her mom and dad while they are off galavanting!

Shelter and water bowels provided, as well as big water tubs provided in the summer months to keep your pups cool. Rainy season update: we will continue to be open throughout the winter, even with all the rain. It is going to be muddy, but hopefully not too bad. To cut down on the mud, we won't be taking the tractor in to fill holes, so please watch your step when walking around. Close to downtown Corvallis, come let your dog run free and just be a dog for a little while. Our newly fenced in area is a work in progress and we will be adding more things to do for pups and their humans. If there is anything you would like to see added in the future, please don't hesitate to let us know.

Season alert: dandelions are blooming which means bees. This is some of the first food for spring bees, so we often leave them. There will likely be a bee visiting the flowers around the yard from spring through summer. Gate to enter on Bull Mountain Rd, on the northwest side of the property. We have a fun cattle gate that slides open. Duck your head and walk on up a wooden boardwalk to the backside of our yard. The fenced in area includes all of the backyard up to the landscaped area next to the house. Feel free to roam and run across the back section. This is stick-topia. A stick for every pup that wants one. Feel free to take one home with you We will compost the dog waste, please just scoop up the poo with the provided shovel and add to the bucket. We will take it from there. There's a swing for humans, please enjoy. I am working on building a nice little shelter, but for now enjoy the cover the beautiful Douglas fir trees provide.
