55Lovely space & pond The chickens are so cute and weren’t bothered by my dogs sniffing the fence (lol my dogs just be kind) Wish it was fenced but no trouble with my dogs going anywhere near the driveway Can’t wait to return
55Rocky and Daisy loved the super large yard & pond! I was worried I wouldn’t be able to get Daisy to leave! I did have an issue with my dogs running off to greet someone walking on the road, so just be mindful if your dog does the same. While it’s secluded, the road is still visible to the dogs (if they’re paying attention). Otherwise it was a great first experience with SniffSpot!
55Very nice property for dogs. Nice little pond to swim in and a large grassy area too.
55My pups loved their visit! The pond was perfect for a cool day and the area was calm and quiet for my reactive pup.
55Beautiful property with a pond that our dog loved. Communication with property owner was great. We will be back!
55Perfect for a hot day! My boys are both dog reactive and one can be stranger reactive. Denise was very accommodating and we had a relaxing few hours while the boys swam and played fetch in the large yard. For anyone concerned with the chickens— my dogs aren’t generally very interested in birds, but they were silent and never even caught the dogs’ attention.
55Pup had an awesome time!! The pond was great, he didn't want to come out.
55Fantastic spot!! The pond is perfect for pups to paddle in and close to entrance of property. Lots of room to run plus plenty of shady areas. Host is very responsive.
55We had such an amazing time! Our pups are still tired from all the running and swimming we got to do! We will definitely be back
55Beautiful spot! It's clean and well maintained, and although not fenced in, it still feels very secluded and secure. I had no issues what so ever with the spot. Although the chickens certainly got my dogs attention, but with all the space, it was easy to draw her attention elsewhere. The pond is quite large, and my dog loved swimming in it to retrieve his water toy. We had a great time and will be back for sure!

we have 13 chickens that live in a fenced area attached to a barn. nothing can get to them, but they are visible. also, the neighbors have a couple of cats that could be outside, but they are usually very dog avoidant on their own.

Description

There is a pond that dogs are welcome to swim in. Has shallow entranceway, and deeper areas. Dogs love to fetch sticks and balls from the Pond. Also, there is a bridge from the edge of our property into the Wharton State Forest. There is a pretty wide trail.

Cleanliness

100% of guests said this spot was as clean as expected during their visit.

Hazards

There is usually a pile of branches right in the middle of the area that is our “burn pile” I don’t actually see how it could provide a hazard, but if your dogs are particularly curious, I suppose they could try to burrow under it and have branches fall on them. Has never been a problem, but wanted to mention it.

We love animals, so we live at the edge of the forest. We have 4 acres in a park-like setting with a pond. We have fostered dogs, babysat dogs, adopted dogs, and our friends and family are always welcome to bring their dogs when they visit. We would love to share our park-like setting with you. While our dogs will remain inside the fence, or even inside the house if they are too distracting, you’re welcome to enjoy the rest of the property and splash in the pond

Large, fully-fenced, no-gap Dog Park In Haddon Township, NJ

Welcome to our backyard! It's about 6,500 square feet, with a beautiful, six-foot red cedar fence all the way around, with no gaps for even the smallest dogs (except maybe a teacup dog!). There are two major seating spots with chairs and plenty of empty space for your dogs to run around. It's also well shaded, with a gigantic, hundreds-years-old tree right smack in the middle. If you have a good visit, please leave a good review! We are first-time homeowners and Sniffspotters. Please get in touch with any questions or suggestions for improvements! PLEASE DO *NOT* BRING A DOG THAT: - has a particularly loud or booming bark. We live in a quiet neighborhood and do not want to disturb our neighbors. - may chew through outdoor-rated extension cords (there's one for the mosquito trap, as you can see next to the pool). - may chew through (or climb through!) the plastic tubing between the pool and its mechanics (pump and filter). Important notes: - No more than four dogs may be in our yard at any one time, and all dogs must share the same owner. The owner must remain with their dogs at all times. The owner may bring a small number or human guests, but no guest may bring their own dog. - Please look carefully through our photos to know what to expect. Any questions, ask! - It is expected that our yard will be in the same or better condition than when you entered. Please clean up your and your dog's messes. - If you can prevent your dog from peeing next to the pool and its mechanics, please do. We realize this might not be possible, so don't stress if it happens. - There's a three-foot-wide alleyway behind the shed (fence on one side, shed on the other), open on both sides. It's just dried leaves back there. (Note: the bricks in the pictures will be gone before your dog arrives.) For the moment, we're leaving this open, but may block it off depending on feedback from our Sniffspot guests. - The pool is off limits to dogs. Note the pool-wall is five feet high. There will be no ladder when your dog visits. It is IMPERATIVE that you not put a chair next to the pool, to prevent your dog from jumping in. - We have one neighbor (on the driveway side) with a dog. He's not out that much, he's never out without his owner, and he's not loud (I've NEVER heard him since moving here two years ago). It is very likely that this dog will not be out during your visit, but we can't guarantee this. Regardless, there is always a solid six-foot-high fence between. Our neighbors are well aware, and are fully supportive, of our renting via Sniffspot. Concerns we are currently working to address: - We plan on building a small fence around the pool mechanics. - Note that we mow this very big backyard every two weeks. Also, there's ALWAYS more weeding to be done. However, there are no harmful-to-dogs plants that we are aware of.
