IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD Welcome to Crawford farm! We have plenty of space for running around, playing frisbee, fetch, swimming.. whatever your fur baby is after. We are a small farm, which means we have chickens, ducks and goats. We keep our animals in their coops when fur friends are visiting. ***please note; we require notice at least one day in advance if the animals are to be kept in their coops. Otherwise we let them free range*** The creek has an easy entry location. It’s shallow water at that spot. Deeper water in other areas. Our property is sprayed using a food grade insect deterrent. Plus our chickens free range when there are no dogs around. This means very minimal tick sightings. We have children, so expect some toys around. If you’re bringing children, they’re welcome to play on the play structure. (Pending parental approval and supervision). Plenty of muskoka chairs to relax in while your fur baby plays. The road isn’t right beside the area where fur friends run, however it is accessible from the yard. If you have a dog that’s a flight risk or likes to chase cars, this isn’t the right spot for you. We have lots of dog friends that visit unleashed and listen well to their owners with no issues. Any questions, please ask!

We host a beekeeper who has about 40 hives on a well-marked and avoidable section of one trail. The bees are out only from April to October but please avoid the hives anyway. ***Charges are in USD*** We at BHS understand that letting your dog run and play is so important! But some dogs aren't suitable for dog parks or social areas. Our private, fully fenced half acre yard is the perfect place to let your (reactive or otherwise) dog just be a dog and get some freedom! Please check in at the front desk to get the key to the yard, and clean up after yourself. There are water bowls in the yard, but please bring your own water. There are trees providing shady areas throughout the day. If bringing back the key when we are not open, please put it in the Mailbox, located beside our Front Doors. When we are open, our receptionists will gladly take the key back from you! All the fees go directly to the animals in our case, and we are a registered charity and no-kill shelter. There are forest trails and trails around our hay fields. **Please note **Our residential areas are off limits, please stick to the trails and blue markers. Please do not enter any of the buildings on our property. When you come up the driveway veer to the right, there is a marked parking spot for you and your pup. Fall, winter and early spring are great months for ball chasers as we have big open fields. Mid spring and summer we have hay growing and ask you and your pups to follow the trails around the hay fields. There are a couple of cows on the neighboring property, this is only for a very small portion on one of the fields.
