55So much fun!
55Took my Decker Rat Terrier to this sniff spot! She loved it lots of room to run and trail different scents. It was a beautiful space.
55Tripper's Creekside park is great!! There's one area that's like an obstacle course in the forest, then another one with grass and the creek. And it's a real creek! Deeper in some parts and actually flowing. Not just a pond named a creek. Lol. There's also a 'two-log' bridge crossing the creek. A little narrow but cool. There ARE a couple of spots on the other side of the creek where the fence is kind of low and there are horses up there. If you have a determined/stubborn/I'll do what I want kind of dog like we do, they might be able to get to the horses. I think it's still fenced, but they can get right up to them. Not a problem for us, but be aware. It's awesome that Todd has the place lit up for us 'sniffers' (or would it be 'Spotters'? lol) at night, for those like us that can only come in the evening. It also feels REALLY safe there, so no worries about that. The directions were accurate and easy, and Todd was great with communication. (in fact I still owe him the response to his message, that I started to write that night, then completely forgot to finish! Sorry Todd, you will get it someday!! 😉) All in all we had a great time! This spot will be AWESOME in the spring & summer! I do definitely recommend boots for the muddy and wet spots like the description says, for fall & winter though. Apologies for not having pictures to share, but we were having too much fun to remember to take some. Next time! Thanks Todd, for sharing your retreat with us! 😁
55Amazing romp with my 2 huskies and my friends husky! One of my dogs recently became a little difficult with other dogs after going to the park for years. We were in search of some place to let my dogs run with their friend without worry of other dogs and this was just perfect. My best friend and I were able to hang out and chat while our dogs enjoyed what I would call paradise! They ran, they played, they swam! It was so nice being able to relax again with my pups able to romp free (it’s what they deserve!) we will definitely be back! 12/10 best private dog romp!
55Awesome property! The dogs loved the water and running around. They were sad to leave. We will be back.
55Super cool space, especially with the variety of forest area, creek, grassy areas. Pup had a blast and host was super accommodating, clear instructions, really nice.
55Make sure to wear boots! The dogs had an awesome time getting muddy 🤣 we always love coming here!
55Had a incredible time at this amazing spot!!!! The dogs had the best time ever. One of the best sniff spots around. :)
55This is easily the best sniffspot we have ever been too, it was an absolute blast! Our dogs lost their marbles, they had so much fun here. We will be returning, I highly recommend!!
55Dogs loved running around and going through the creek. It was muddy and wet, make sure you have boots and towels.

Neighbors with dogs all live on their own 5 to 10 acre plots, NONE can make onto my land. You may hear them barking if your dogs are barking while playing. My two dogs can be put into Upper Locked Chainlink, or in the house. They are very social, but I understand if you prefer having them segregated/locked

~ This is Wet Time of year, so certain areas will be muddy and the creek changes levels in storms. Hiking Shoes, Boots, Clogs, rubber boots give you a better Dry Feet experience. . 7year 8month , I've worked to create BEST family Space for my own from a NW Jungle. Expect variations in Creek levels, and bring some type of hiking shoes or boots as lowlands get wet. NOW, I have a WEATHERPROOF Pole Structure w/Electricity for 7k Lumen of Dusk To Dawn Lighting. Salmon pass through here to spawn further upstream. They go further upstream, when Heavy Rains occur, Oct to Jan. 'Hosting' many family / friends = many dog guests. Fully Fenced, monitored daily, open Green-Space ONE VISION, create usable recreational Sustainable area for people who respect such a unique greenspace, rehabilitated Look over either fence, North or South. Solo Work, and life project, is what this is. From Entrance Security Gate, FULLY FENCED 5.9 acre w/ year round creek to small river (seasons vary!) for swimming, running FULL SPEED, fetch, etc. The entrance is gated; left Closed, PLEASE Close behind you= Home entrance. Please park on the gravel in front of Green Barn gate. Walk through the chain link Gate by Barn(close Chain Link Gate) .Your dogs play in the entire middle & lower fenced fields/creek area. Leave the Creek Gates Closed to keep eye on your pups better if you want. The fenced creek area, My two dogs will be in house or on our own trips. There are 9 chickens, which are contained in their run, when guests are here.

Hike up the mini forest

Our property is shy of 12 acres, 9+ acres of which we're sharing as a private off leash dog space or Sniffspot. The entrance is over the bridge where the creek is and 'From Creek to Back of Property' is all yours to explore. You may unleash your doggies right after the bridge and chain the gate if you want. Dogs might run down the creek for a splash or drink. Continue on to our family campground, there are picnic tables you could use. Then, up the hill you go to 'hike up the mini forest', free to roam around, listen to the birds, squirrels and other critters and sounds that nature brings you. You'll find seating areas while your dogs are at play, feel free to use them. Enjoy a picnic with your loved ones if you're up for it on one of the cabin porches or covered / uncovered picnic tables. The back of property behind fence is DNR land, so rest assured you’re on your own private little world with your furry buddies. The mini forest has some large walking paths and smaller trails scattered about, also some open meadows and is at a peaceful wooded setting. This is where I go to unwind and relieve my head of stress and worries. It’s my place of meditation, while my dogs sniff and romp around like crazy, do their zoomies and play hide n seek! *If you want to save a little bit of moolah, check out Sniffpass. Forget about the gym, you'll get your exercise here with your dogs. If you have older dog/s and would like to drive below the hill to park so the fur buddy don't get exhausted, message me.* Some of you have asked about the cabins. Sniffspot is unavailable if Cabins are booked or vice versa. Booking is through Hipcamp (www.hipcamp.com). Name of listing: 'Grace E.'s Mini Forest Cabins'. But I would unblock the hours for Sniffspot use if that day isn't booked for Hipcamp, so please try to check back, who knows that day might be available! Anyway, hope you too will enjoy your little 'hike up the mini forest..'
