Description

Welcome to 50 acres of puppy heaven! Located off Crittenden Road in Suffolk, Virginia. Please take dirt lane, there is no house. Please do not disturb neighbors. Drive or Walk through the gate and the whole area is yours! There are walking trails in the woods, a pond to find and a river to explore. The open field is wonderful for training and or play. Your dog will love exploring this wonderful property. ***This is the country. The land is wonderful to explore but it is vacant and undeveloped. You will encounter nature, really in the spring and summer. There are ticks, snakes, uneven ground, rabbits, wet spots, etc. Please only book if you are used to the outdoors and being adventurous!*** Update from my guests comments: Wear bug spray when it’s warm, check for ticks after a visit, boots are recommended after rainy days, dogs may get muddy bring towels and look for the new mailbox to identify the dirt lane off the road. Enjoy!

HOST NOTE

This is the country!! Vacant, undeveloped land for adventurous pups only. We have bugs so wear bug spray. We have mud, so wear hiking boots or muck boots after rain and always bring towels for your pups. This is the place where everyone gets a bit dirty. Always check for ticks after you play in the summer and fall(humans & pups)! Watch out for snakes or lizards or turtles, in the spring and summer you will see them! When the weather warms up you will see nature all around, please only book a time slot if you’re used to being outdoors.

Enjoy the property overnight to camp. Please message to confirm your desired hours are available. Please reserve one hour at 4pm, click this extra and I will block off the night till 10am the next morning.

Hero loves running, exploring and playing in Suffolk, so he thought it best to join SniffSpot so others can enjoy too. There is no way they can physically interact with your dog through the fence, but control of your dog must be your priority while walking to and from our property. We live in a suburb with close neighbors whom often enjoy their outdoor space in good weather. Penny’s Place is exactly what you want to make of it! Nearly one acre of fully fenced space where you can run, sunbathe, sniff the few trees, play with the hose and kiddie pool, whatever your pup’s heart desires! We do our best to refund our guests when unforeseen circumstances arise, derailing your reservation. Please try to give us notice, even if you are within the 2 hour window, so we can cancel your block. *if bad weather is highly anticipated in the area, please understand that we may not always approve a full refund if you cancel last minute HOURS: we close nightly at 10pm and reopen the following morning at 6 am. We vow to never raise our prices above $10/hr. Winter months see a price drop to $8/hr ❄️☃️
