Description

We have a fully fenced in yard in the Village Oaks subdivision! Come bring your dogs to have some fun while your kids are at school or have them all come play after school. For pups, we have lots of grassy area to run and play. They’re welcome to hop on our kids’ play set and ride down the slide, as our beloved dog did. Two big trees provide plenty of shade for you and your pup. Our backyard is your backyard!

Please clean up after your pup. There’s a trash receptacle on your way out for convenience. I unfortunately do not have poop bags currently, so please bring some! It’s winter time right now so not all amenities are out yet, such as the hose and kiddie pool.

Michigan Farm 4-acre Private Dog Park Welcome! Quiet and peaceful area. Field, woods, grassy areas. Porta-Potty- New addition! A small paddock for time-out, training, etc. A rain shelter: Inside our rain shelter • Toys to borrow (Please return) • Dog wipes • Bug Spray • Chairs and a table • Phone charger • Light • Umbrellas • Lost and Found A lot of areas to rest and sit. Benches, tables, chairs. Activities: Walk, run, off road bike, yoga, cross skiing, snowshoe, agility, herding (bring your own sheep ), search, Frisbee, scent work, etc. Wildlife: Deer, many birds- hawks, vultures, turkeys, various song birds, rabbits, raccoons, groundhogs, squirrels. Access for with trucks, trailers, equipment, sheep, dogs, etc. 14’ gate and a 4’ gate walk-in. The entire 10+ acres (we used to have horses, cows and sheep) is fenced (4’ farm fence). For now, feel free to wonder the entire fenced 10 acres. For Your First Visit: It is a good idea to walk your dog on a leash around the perimeter until you are comfortable. Although it is fenced, it is not possible to know every dog’s individual behavior. The tornado siren goes off every first Saturday of the month at 1:00. No joy. I am often available if needed for questions or help. We welcome suggestions! Enjoy!
