The front of the yard features a 6-foot privacy fence, while the rest is enclosed with a combination of 6-foot wood, chain link, and heavy-duty wire fencing. It’s fully secure and suitable for both large and small dogs. Your pup will love exploring the variety of scents left behind by local wildlife—birds, squirrels, chipmunks, and the occasional raccoon or fox make for an exciting visit! Ruby’s Retreat for Reactive Dogs is a place where a dog can come to be dog. We have about .75 acres fenced with a ramp, oversized dig box, hideout, tether tug, (available upon request)kiddie pool and or splash pad. We also have about an acre of wooded trails that were created for Ruby and her brother’s daily sniff and strolls. Ruby was dog reactive which limited her outings, we would like to give other dogs the opportunity to be a dog with no stress and just be a dog. This spot is in memory of Ruby and her way of helping other dogs like her. Rocky (Ruby’s brother) and Ruby were the inspiration behind what we’d like to offer your dog. Thanks for checking us out 🐾🐾

PLEASE READ: For my regulars, and those who were excellent visitors, thank you! I am so sorry to have to close. Our lease ran out and the new owners of the property have decided they do not wish to be landlords. We purchased a home in Milton, but I have not decided if I will reopen the spot in the Spring. While the majority of my visitors are amazing; cleaning up after themselves, reporting lost or damaged items and being good people, there were a few that left trash, destroyed toys, hoses, tools, solar fountains AND DID NOT TELL ME. Most of these same people left less than 5 stars for things like the grass not being short enough, I did not do a good enough job weed whacking and ticks. If I could choose who visits, I would likely try to reopen next year with the same setup at my new home. For now, this is goodbye.
