**WINTER UPDATE: our pond will be frozen whenever temps are or have been below freezing consistently. Since we have an aerator, it never freezes completely and I would NEVER trust the ice. Do not allow dogs to go out on the ice. Message us for more info on current conditions before your booking to decide if it’s safe for your dog.** Enjoy a fully fenced spot (4 foot wire mesh livestock style fencing), run through mowed grass, tall natural meadow (we are “rewilding” a portion of our yard to native plants), two short wooded trails and access to a large pond with dock. Dogs are welcome to swim—bring towels and be prepared for some mud if it’s been raining or you have a pond monster doggy. Woods have wonderful smells, my dogs sometimes find delightful things to roll in. A hose is available for use on warm days. We do have chickens on site and ask you not allow your dog to harass them as you enter and leave (chickens are in a separate fenced area and in a coop/run). My dogs will be in the house—some barking may happen on your arrival but they will not be loose. Wildlife may be encountered (deer, squirrels, crawfish, muskrats, many birds and snapping turtles). **Note: I didn’t want to claim the site as accessible as it is grass and some uneven ground, but feel free to reach out if you need an accommodation to access the spot and we can discuss what is possible** We welcome all. We have a little under an acre of land for your pup(s) to roam. Lots of space to toss a ball, play, run, and sniff. We have multiple gardens, several trees, a playhouse, playground with slide, firepit, stacked wood, a compost pile, a greenhouse & shed, a sandbox (please don’t allow dog to pee or poop here) and a little dome made out of sticks. We have a covered back porch with chairs and also chairs by the firepit. We have a small patch of open dirt that pups can dig in. There is a hose with a filter if pup needs water. We can provide a poop bag if you need one, but would prefer you bring your own. We provide hand sanitizer for guests. Have fun!

We have a 2 acre fenced pasture behind the house. The grass may be long, however, will be occasionally cut so shouldn’t be crazy. Your dog and shoes may get muddy after rainy days. Please plan ahead. The fenced area is entered on the right side of the property through swinging gates. Owners of small dogs may want to be careful near the gates as the openings are large enough for small dogs to get through.

Feel free to park in the driveway under the shade of the cherry tree. You’ll walk around the south side of the house and you’ll find the gate. Let yourself and your furry pal in. Don’t forget to close the gate all the way! There is sun or shade for your 4-legged friend to practice their zoomies on. And there is a deck and a chair for the human accompanying. There is a hose in the front of the house and a water bowl on the back deck! I truly hope you enjoy your time sitting out back. There are so many birds and squirrels to watch in the peaceful afternoon sunshine.

Welcome to our spot, the perfect place for your friend to enjoy some off-leash time in a safe and controlled environment. We understand that some dogs may be reactive or require a bit more space, and we are happy to accommodate their needs. Our location offers plenty of room for your dog to explore and play without the worry of unexpected encounters being in the yard. Our immediate neighbors on the southern property line now have dogs, and you may occasionally see or hear them during your visit but seems to be a rare instance that they come to the fence line. A kiddie pool is available in the summer, but I will need to be notified in advance on whether or not you would like it filled. Two humans per dog are allowed unless arrangements are made with me in advance. Please note that the yard may be wet or muddy after rain or snow. Additionally, mole holes might be present in some areas (providing extra sniffing opportunities!) 😜 Additionally, our spot is conveniently located right by the B&O Trail, making it easy for you to warm up or cool down your visit with a walk. Come visit us and give your dog the freedom they deserve!! Feel free to bring a speaker if you want to listen to music during your visit! 🐾
