Finger Lakes Dog Park is a privately reservable, fully-fenced, half acre canine recreation area. We enthusiastically welcome ALL dogs, but the private nature of the park is especially beneficial for reactive or shy dogs, traveling dogs, handicapped dogs, puppies, or seniors. We are the first and only dog park in Schuyler County, located in the heart of the Finger Lakes Region. The area is known for its rolling farmland, many vineyards, beautiful lakes, and plentiful waterfalls and gorges. Numerous state parks offer many camping opportunities. And the county is also home to the only national forest in the state. So whether you are a local resident-or a visitor to our little piece of heaven-be sure to bring your special friend(s) for an enjoyable outing in the country. We are open every day (including all holidays) from 8am to 8pm. The park is not lighted (yet) so reserve your spot accordingly during the winter. Happy romping!

Fun in Freeville: Fully Fenced Yard, Open Space, and Trails For Fido
Welcome to Fun in Freeville: Fenced Yard Edition! Our property includes a 2,500 sq. ft. fully fenced-in yard, a larger open field, and a 5-acre trail. The yard includes deck access and seating. There is a large umbrella for shade and rain in the summer. The ground in the yard is pretty flat and mostly grass. The open space in the back is also grass with some trees and bushes. It can get a little muddy during very wet times of the year but there is a hose available. There is a kiddie pool in the yard for your pup to cool down in the summer. We have a small fire pit in the yard if you want to start a fire in cooler weather. There's also a large fire pit on the trail with bench seating and a picnic table. Bring your binoculars if you enjoy birding. We have lots of hummingbirds in the summer and have seen barred owls on the trail. Please let us know if you're interested in having a fire or want to know if the pool is out. We'd be happy to start a fire for you if we're available or ensure the kiddie pool has fresh water. If there are other extras you'd like to see, let us know! We do have this spot set to a 7-hour advance booking - please feel free to message to see if the space is available with less than 7 hours notice. We're usually able to accommodate most requests. For more on our trail, see our other listing: https://www.sniffspot.com/to/cm37j

Fun in Freeville - 5.5 Acre Trail
Welcome to Fun in Freeville: Trail Edition! A short trail for your dog that likes to explore the woods. There is a fire pit about 100 yards in with seating and some natural doggy obstacles for those interested in agility and parkour exercises. We currently have one open trail that runs the length of our 5.5 acre property and back, and we hope to add more this spring. Our favorite times to walk this trail are in the fall and winter. It can get pretty wet during certain times of the year. I would definitely wear tall waterproof footwear in the spring and summer and use bug spray. There's a large fire pit with benches and a picnic table that you're welcome to use. We are doing our best to maintain and further develop the trail but please be aware that there is uneven ground throughout and watch your step. As you walk through, you will encounter different types of forest and trees. It's always fun to bring binoculars if you're into birding. You might get lucky and see our resident barred owls! Our property also includes a fully fenced yard you are welcome to use as well. See our other spot for more details and information: https://www.sniffspot.com/to/3yhyy
