Description

25 acres with mostly wooded trails, and some open fields. Tree-lined creek trail, weaves through property. Lots of logs and boulders for dogs to sniff, chase wild life, and cool while doing it. Easy parking and access. Info for guests: Leash not required. Some fencing in back may be down. Use your best judgement. Clean up not required. Driving Instructions: When going up drive way stay to right. Continue towards barn. Look for red metal gate. Stop and park at red gate. Please do not drive past gate. Walk through gate. Go any direction from there. But... For most direct trail to creek walk to end of riding arena. On far side of arena there is a double gate. Trail is just past this gate. Follow this trail into woods. Creek is at bottom of hill. Once at creek multiple trails intersect near creek. There is also a trail on other side of creek that will weave back around. Trails are somewhat rugged. Watch for fallen debris from trees, ruts in ground caused by flooding, exposed roots are trip hazards. Watch your step.

Additional Information: Hi and welcome. My name is Nicole and I'm your host. Welcome. Just a few pointers: When entering property stay to right at 'Y' continue up drive towards barn (to the right). There is a red gate. Park car in front of gate. Do not drive through gate. After exiting vehicle go through red gate. Walk towards far end of riding arena. At end of arena near back gate you will see a trail. (There are a few but this is quickest way to creek). This trail will take you to the creek and intersect with other trails. The recent storms may have knocked down trees and limbs. Be careful. Feel free to pick up sticks and play fetch in creek, explore and enjoy the property. We do not require leashes or clean up. We'd rather nature clean nature then use unnatural plastic baggies. Leashes are optional. That being said... the area is vast and fencing could be down. If you have any questions or concerns please contact us. Lastly... we respectfully ask that you let us know when you're done. This way... we know guests are safe, didnt get lost or injured. That's it. Have fun!

Hi! Our property is a great spot for walking. We have trails that weave around creek. Nothing but woods behind us so there's plenty of space for your dog to run chase, deer, rabbits, turkey's and a creek to swim and play stick. We had horses but they are gone. Schedule a time and we will make sure our dogs are put away. Storms and debris can fall and land in trail. Participate at your own risk.

We have a large 2 acre piece of land located in Troy, VA, 15-20 minutes to Charlottesville, 10-15 from Lake Monticello, 45-60 minutes from Richmond, VA. 1 full acre is fully fenced in with a 5ft fence and under fence wiring for those curious pups who like to dig. We have a picnic table with a 15 ft umbrella as well as a few trees for shade, a few chairs, water for the pups, drinks for the pawrents, a fire pit, hose, doggy bags, pooper scooper, trash cans, as well as a restroom available upon request. Entrance is separate from the house and to the side of the house. We also offer doggie daycare and boarding for a fee.
