The Canine Traveler

We will be closed the entire month of January for maintenance and cold weather. We will open weekends in February. Let your pup run wild and free across 8 private acres of pure off-leash joy! This sprawling, fully fenced property is perfect for dogs who love to explore. With rolling hills, bumpy terrain, and tons of open space, it’s a sniff-and-sprint paradise! *We are outside the city limits and it is not uncommon to hear hunters nearby shooting* ✅ Fully enclosed with secure fencing ✅ Natural terrain: hilly, bumpy, and tons of sensory enrichment ✅ Water station & shade available inside carport and through trails ✅ Poop bags & trash bin provided Trash & Amenities: The trash can and other amenities are inside the carport and at the picnic table in the back near the bamboo forest. Seating: We have a table and four chairs in the bamboo/shaded area in the very back if you would like to have a picnic off the ground. At any time, you can request more seating. In addition, we have a bench inside the carport and at the well. Fence: The fence is 3 feet on three sides and five feet on the road side. The front fence is wood slats/split rail with wire. On other sides we have wire and chain link. Our Great Pyrenees and Golden Retriever have not tried to jump it. *There are critters that like to lift up our wire fencing. Just beware if you have a tiny dog.* Wildlife: You may see turtles, snakes, rabbits, deer, ground hogs and squirrels. There have been times that deer will be stuck inside our fencing. Grounds: The property around the home has never been graded so it is hilly and lumpy so be careful where you step. You can see holes dug in the yard from dogs. It is fine if they dig. Water: You have access to our well and water bowls.

Fenced-in lighted yard area that is licensed by the department of agriculture is the perfect spot to play fetch after a long day of work while still soaking up the country feels and smells. Additional options for horse safe dogs include twelve acres of fenced in land with a pond. Onsite dog bath availaable for extra fee to wash and go home clean.

Fully Fenced Room to Roam in Cherryville

Twenty-seven acres right outside of 28021 city limits. Former cattle and sheep pasture, currently empty of livestock but waiting for you and your pup(s) to explore! Variety of areas: from large open pastures to heavily wooded (but still easily accessible/walkable) areas = lots to see, hear, and sniff! No need to pick up after your pet either! Water available multiple locations: outside the fenced pastures near block building/parking via hose pipe at the well near the garden 🪴 or inside the pastures (look for the blue barrels and the cattle waterers).

Treat your pup to the ultimate off-leash adventure just minutes from Langtree Rd and exits 31–33. This fully fenced, spacious 1 acre sniffspot offers your dog the freedom to run, fetch, and explore. Feel free to use any of the provided dog toys including balls with a launch stick, frisbee, or toys. Or just simply relax in the hammock or the shaded table and chairs while your pets run around and explore within the fully fenced 1 acre area. Fresh water with hose, and convenient parking are all on-site. Come sniff, play, and stay awhile! PLEASE NOTE: Durning winter months Nov thru Feb, We shut Off the water faucet on the back side of property to avoid the pipe from freezing. We recommend bringing your own water for your pup(s). My apologies for any inconvenience. Thank you!
