55We visited with three dogs (2 families) - 2 large 1 small. The enclosed area is very large with a covered area and picnic table. It was the perfect spot for our dogs to get their initial greeting energy out safely. It would be worth it to go just for the enclosed area. Once the dogs settled a bit we took to the trails, they are all out and back but all very beautiful and easy to navigate. It lovely to have the bathroom facilities available, and it was clean. We warned the host that two of the dogs are dog selective and he kept his dogs inside, we did see some chickens but just kept the dogs away from that area. Finally the dogs LOVED the pond, so nice to have that feature. We will definitely be back, it was a great experience. 3 happy dogs and 3 happy humans.
55Dogs enjoyed a good run on the trails. The dogs spotted a coyote not far from the fenced dog park, to be expected in the forest. Luckily they have a great recall.

55This was our second time at this location and won't be our last. The trails are well maintained and there's lots to explore. My dogs love it here.
55My dog had a great time running through the fields and the different trails. He also enjoyed dipping his toes in the pond. For anyone with a sound sensitive pup, you could hear the train from the nearby track. My dog got a bit concerned when he first heard it but was OK after.

55My first visit, so with my reactive dog, I kept him on leash as we roamed some of the trails. He has sufficient recall that in the future I will let him run. He enjoyed the pond and we spent some time in the dog park, too. Great spot for the two us.

We have 2 very friendly dogs. Piper and Petey love to play with other dogs but will be kept away while you visit, unless you would like them to join in your visit. Piper is quiet but very playful shar pei mix, while Petey is playful but tries to be the boss like a typical Frenchie.

Fully fenced area has a new gate! With dog friendly entrance. Bathrooms are now closed for the season. While Offering 4 km of trails and With the short days upon us don’t for get your flashlight! We are open till 11PM! Enjoy a night walk if you’re not scared of the dark! We are working hard to prepare the area for your visit, some areas might look less than perfect but we keep it safe for you and your furry companions. Nurtured by Nature is a thriving kids summer day camp but currently off season so we are open 7 days a week. So for the safety of the kids and respect to their families we are unable to have the area available while the day camp is open. This is for only 6 weeks in the summer. On our 26 acre hobby farm, we have a 6 acre fully fenced farm field/dog park. Ride up and park at the white barn, and walk your leashed puppers to the field past our gardens, woodlots, and ponds. From the barn to the dog park you will get familiar with our surroundings and other fences. There is access to the forest and two ponds on the property. Crossing through the tree line, you have private access to the 6-acre field. Four-foot tall fencing is installed for your security. The best time to come is May to September. Come walk between the sunflower rows that grow up to 10 feet tall in the late summer! We cut the field between the sunflowers, make trails and play spots. We also leave big areas untouched for our honeybees (hives located in the other field). Enjoy seeing natural landscapes, trees, and privacy. Have fun, play catch and let your animal have unleashed freedom! We have uploaded a printable "safety map" for each season, that contains a legend for your use. Note the fire pit is not available during the winter season. Park has one main gate. This season we will also be placing picnic tables with a BBQ for large groups. I recommend booking the summer weekends in advance as they will fill up fast! Fencing Details: The 6-acre Dog Park Field is permanently fenced with approximately 2,500 linear feet of 4’ tall farm fence. The farm fence consists of professionally installed 2” by 4” squares of wire mesh (commonly used for smaller livestock such as sheep, donkey, cows, etc) and cedar posts. If you look at the photos you can see the locations of the gate on the main photo or on “safety map” (see photos and captions). We have more fencing on other parts of the property outside of our dog park in case your dog does not have good recall. Refer to the safety map (see photos). On our 26 acre hobby farm, we have a 6 acre fully fenced farm field/dog park. Ride up and park at the white barn, and walk your leashed puppers to the field past our gardens, woodlots, and ponds. From the barn to the dog park you will get familiar with our surroundings and other fences. There is access to the forest and two ponds on the property. Crossing through the tree line, you have private access to the 6-acre field. Four-foot tall fencing is installed for your security. The best time to come is May to September. Come walk between the sunflower rows that grow up to 10 feet tall in the late summer! We cut the field between the sunflowers, make trails and play spots. We also leave big areas untouched for our honeybees (hives located in the other field). Enjoy seeing natural landscapes, trees, and privacy. Have fun, play catch and let your animal have unleashed freedom! We have uploaded a printable "safety map" for each season, that contains a legend for your use. Note the fire pit is not available during the winter season. Park has one main gate. This season we will also be placing picnic tables with a BBQ for large groups. I recommend booking the summer weekends in advance as they will fill up fast! Fencing Details: The 6-acre Dog Park Field is permanently fenced with approximately 2,500 linear feet of 4’ tall farm fence. The farm fence consists of professionally installed 2” by 4” squares of wire mesh (commonly used for smaller livestock such as sheep, donkey, cows, etc) and cedar posts. If you look at the photos you can see the locations of the gate on the main photo or on “safety map” (see photos and captions). We have more fencing on other parts of the property outside of our dog park in case your dog does not have good recall. Refer to the safety map (see photos).
