55Upon arrival, Paul greated us at the parking area off of 20th Side Rd. and explained where the pond was located and which entrance to use for the pool. He was very friendly and accommodating with us. We noticed a lot of signage on the property so it was easy to located designated spots.
On a day like today with temps feeling like 36+ degrees out, it was great for Nugget and I to stay cool in the giant in-ground cement pool which was crystal clear. In addition to the use of the adjacent open-air pool club house complete with tables/chairs which provided shade when not swimming. Nugget also ventured over to the pond located beside the fully-fenced dog park for another quick dip.
We were so impressed with this location and will definitely return to check out all the trails on a much cooler day. Loved it!Kari B.

Nova, being a young pup with boundless energy, absolutely loved having all that room to run and play to her heart's content. It was such a joy to watch her freely explore and burn off some serious puppy energy.
While NBN Dog Park also offers trails, we opted not to use them this visit. Nova is still quite young and working on her recall, so the secure, fenced area was perfect for her to enjoy off-leash without any worries.

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks.
