Description

Welcome! This is a fully fenced, 1/3 acre yard w/ plenty of space for your dog to run and play. The ground 50% grass and 50% pine tags. There are chairs around the yard and a deck for you to relax and enjoy the sunshine. The yard is 50% shaded. I provide some basic amenities including toys, poop bags, water dish, sun screen/bugspray, treats, water hose. Help yourself to anything in the deck box! Other items are available as extras. Please check them out! The yard is well lit in the late evening, so you can enjoy your time here even after dark! Thanks!

In the natural areas(pine tag area) there may be some sticks that have fallen from our mature trees. Dogs like sticks! 😂

Add # of dogs and time then choose this extra. This includes 5 vehicles and up to 10 humans, Seating, seasonal backdrop for photos, Gas Grill, cooler w/ ice. Pupcups (1 per dog), milk bones, doggy sprinkler and pool(byo towel). Small Blue tooth speaker. Any additional Humans please add individually. No bathrooms provided. Contact me to discuss if needed and we can work specific details out. Happy Pawty!

Please dispose of trash, waste in trash bin at top of driveway as you leave. Please leave any wet towels on deck railing. Please close and latch gate as you enter and leave. Enjoy yourself and let us know if we can do anything to make your visit better in the future. Let us fix any issues before you leave a less than positive review! 😁

Our yard is around .25 acres and fully fenced with a 6ft privacy fence. Only 5 minutes from downtown! We do have a deck (perfect for throwing that ball!) and a patio. We live on a cul-de-sac so parking can be a bit wonky but there are usually spaces available or you’re welcome to pull into our driveway if one of our cars is not there. ***please read*** There’s been a recent disturbance in the lot behind our yard, some developer is cutting down trees and possibly paving a road to a housing unit that has yet to be built. At the moment we’re not sure exactly what is happening but we are gathering more info and will hopefully have a timeline of how long this construction work will be. If your dog is afraid of loud machinery, you may want to reschedule your visit for a Sunday. As of now that seems to be the only day of the week they’re not working back there. We are very sad this is happening near our yard, as part of the reason we bought this house was the privacy we felt in our back yard. Please bare with us as we try to navigate this situation, we will post updates as we get them. We totally understand if you choose to cancel your visit!

Please come let your pups run around in our large Lakeside yard! Our 3 pups (sometimes 4 if we have a foster) love all the open space, so we hope yours will too. We will try to always leave a towel and some little treats up on the deck, so you’re more than welcome to help yourself to anything up there! There should be a bucket of toys, poop baggies in a ziploc bag that are likely inside of the weatherproof tub by the deck stairs, a pooper scooper and a hose etc, so please feel free to use any of it as needed.

We have a 5 acre OFF LEASH area available, and an ON LEASH walking trail in the back of our property. We are pleased to invite you and your dog to our lovely fully fenced in area on our 12 acre property in the countryside of Montpelier, VA. 30 min from downtown Richmond, VA - come escape to the quiet and tranquil area we have set up and fenced off for dogs. An additional nature area for walking is available in the back; however, dogs MUST be leashed in this area, as it is not fully fenced back there. Walking trails have been cut and wildlife is often seen in our little sanctuary. Please be mindful of neighbors and leave the area as you found it. Be sure to close ALL gates before you leave.
