FYI - Early spring is a great time to visit! You really can see all the paths, the lay of the land when the trees are void of leaves. The riverbed, grass field, and smaller fenced area are all open for play! We have a beautiful piece of land with a (mostly) fenced perimeter and 1/3 acre fully fenced doggy play area. If you drive in by the picnic table you are in the center of 18 acres to play on and will be quite a distance from the road. ** This time of year you may need to park at the entrance off the road but walk in because of it still being soft with snow melt and spring rains. There are mowed walking paths to the beautiful Kinnickinnic river, far away from other people and animals. You and your dog will love it here! The river is cold and easy for dogs to hop in and out, (not easy for humans right now). If you want to keep them out of the water there is about 10 acres of open field where you park, separate and above the river so you don't need to have them down by the water at all. (although most dogs gravitate to there!)

Your dog won’t want to leave, you may need to chase them down 😉 There are still a few areas of barbed wire but generally tall grass covering along the perimeter fence line this time of year. The ground is uneven in some areas but mowed paths throughout. PLEASE watch your step as there are some gopher/prairie dog holes along the walking paths especially in the field perimeter. Since 2021 when we bought this abandoned farm, we have been improving and caring for this little bit of heaven. My daughter dog sits so we do not have any animals staying here now. Sniffspot seemed a perfect way to share this beautiful place.

This spot has all the smells a dog could want. Enter the property through the electric gate and park onsite, then release the hounds. Host will be on-site to let you and then leave. The yard has a lot of space for running and playing catch. There is a large area of sand that dogs can dig and play in. Yard is fully fenched with fabric on the fence to keep dogs focused in the yard. We have seen deer, racoons, possum, wild turkies, bunnies and tons of squirrels run through our yard.

We are about a quarter mile off the main road and our 10 acres go deeper into the woods. We have about 5 acres of wooded areas and 5 acres of open trails. It is a beautiful and private property. The property is 100% fenced- the fencing is 3 feet high- there is a gate in the driveway, once closed it is completely fenced in. We have water available for dogs- due to the cold weather, please message me if you want water available during your visit and I will put it out ahead of time if I am home.

Please bring water.* The water is usually left ready to go, but the spigot on the side of the house is off. To use it, open the valve on the side of the house by the driveway. Nearly 1/3 of an acre in Roseville available for your dog to sniff until their heart’s content! Open mowed grassy area wide enough for zoomies and long enough for fetch, as well as natural/unmanicured shaded areas for “jungle sniffari’s”. Not far off of Highway 36 and 35E, enjoy the perks of room to run while having the privacy of your own space. Plenty of seating for humans underneath a shaded gazebo, with a table and basic amenities for guest use. Please be aware that we do have other dogs in the neighborhood. This includes our direct neighbors to the north, who we share a chain link fence with. If you are visiting on an evening or weekend, there’s a good chance their dog will be outside also!
