I am a dogsitter and my dog guests love my yard so I thought it would be nice to offer it to people who would like to get their dogs out for some fun without worrying about how things would go with other dogs they may encounter. Along the back fence near the sandbox is a strawberry patch. They are ripening Mid May thru mid June. They are sweet and juicy! Help yourself!

We have large sandbox that many dogs just love.(especially on hot days they love digging and rolling in the cool sand.) If your pup gets a little too tenacious with the digging we'd appreciate a little smoothing out with the rake that is there if you can.

My name is Dory, aka Aunt Dory of Aunt Dory's Pet Sitting I also have a second home based business where I make container gardens, find and restore/repurpose cool vintage items I propagate houseplants to use or sell and sustainably collect moss, lichen and other natural wonders to sell in my shop Day By Day By Dory on Etsy. I love animals and have worked with them and / or plants for a good long while, ( I'm no spring chicken) I spent most of my life working with horses and more than a few years in the retail nursery business. I care deeply for the earth and all of nature. I try to be conscious of my impact on the planet. I'm a master watershed steward in Anne Arundel county and love helping people be good stewards of the land air and water. Amenities include: Swimming Pool - Available for both dogs and their human companions. The pool is open for use. Please note that water temperatures are currently over 80°F. All guests who choose to enter the pool do so at their own risk. Secure Fencing - The yard is enclosed with a 5-foot wooden privacy fence. A few boards have become loose over the winter and are scheduled for repair over the next few weeks. While the yard remains generally secure, we recommend maintaining visual contact with any dog that may be a flight risk, just as a precaution. On-Site Dogs: Occasionally, we board up to four dogs on-site. They are kept calm and separated during guest visits to ensure a peaceful experience. Come enjoy a private, safe, and fun environment for your dogs to run, play, and swim!

Welcome to the Blue House Play Park! Easy to find and convenient entrance to the backyard right in front of the driveway. Feel free to park on the drive or in front of the house if parking is available, or anywhere you see fit in the cul-de-sac. You will have uninterrupted time with your pup(s) in my large fenced-in backyard. I have one doggo but won't be outside during your booked time. Feel free to use the hose for water and the trash can to dispose of waste. I have a container of dog toys available for use, as well as added agility equipment for those who wish to do a little training. Feel free to use the hose/wash area to rinse off your dogs paws after play, no need to add the extra for that. The extra is if you want all the other stuff included for a more in depth bathing. The grass in the yard is cut every two weeks during the summer leading into the fall months. There may be some divots/holes in the yard so please watch your footing.
