Bear Brook Canine Camp

Fully fenced in approximately two acres. We now have lighting for nighttime use. Approximately five times around the property perimeter equals a mile. We have chuck-it throws and balls, many toys, sand/digging areas, pools and agility equipment in a large, fenced area for you and your dog to romp around. Main entrance to the yard can be found by entering the second driveway and parking in the designated parking area in front of the solar barn. We do not plow that driveway in the winter as it’s just gravel. So, feel free to park at the bottom of my driveway and walk to the SS gate if you’re not comfortable using the SS driveway. We ask that you please adhere to our 24 hour notice when changing or canceling a reservation. We are always fully booked on weekends. Ruby’s Retreat for Reactive Dogs is a place where a dog can come to be dog. We have about .75 acres fenced with a ramp, oversized dig box, hideout, tether tug, (available upon request)kiddie pool and or splash pad. We also have about an acre of wooded trails that were created for Ruby and her brother’s daily sniff and strolls. Ruby was dog reactive which limited her outings, we would like to give other dogs the opportunity to be a dog with no stress and just be a dog. This spot is in memory of Ruby and her way of helping other dogs like her. Rocky (Ruby’s brother) and Ruby were the inspiration behind what we’d like to offer your dog. Thanks for checking us out 🐾🐾

It’s fully secure and suitable for both large and small dogs. Our yard is in a quiet neighborhood with a chain link full fence. There is a gate to enter on the left side of the garage. I have fresh water out for all bookings along with a pooper scooper and trash can. I will also fill up the kiddie pool upon request. There are many balls, ropes and chew toys available as well. There is also a cooler for the humans with refreshing beverages 🙂 Let your dog roam the whole yard including the patio, woodsy island and grass —- no area is off limits!

The Pooch Playground

June 2nd 2025: We are purchasing a large stock tank today to use as a pool! Your visits help to pay for upgrades and additions to the spot. I hope to add a solar pool filter in the future. We will place the pool tomorrow and gradually fill it over the next few days. There will be a solar algae inhibitor in the pool that we will remove for visits. Updated pictures soon! The driveway has FINALLY dried out. You may park in the normal spot. Please understand if we get more rain, we may need to block the back part of the driveway again. Situated on a scenic working farm, the Pooch Playground spans about 1/4 acre and is fully enclosed. Tucked next to a small woodland area, this location offers enough distance from the house and barn for a feeling of privacy. The field adjacent to the area is preserved for wildlife. We mow the spot every week, except during drought conditions. We purposely maintain longer grass (2-3 inches instead of cutting it too short) to withstand high traffic and dog urine. We leave 'islands' of grass long for sniffing and exploration. Look at the pictures of the spot. If a toy ends up in the field and you don't want to walk through the tall grass, let us know, and we will retrieve it.

There are dogs on property due to my dog exercise business but they will be secured during your visit. If you would like to use one or all, just message me through sniffspot and let me know so I can have it out for you. - For doggie play-dates, one person should book for all attendees. - You can park on the street or in the driveway when available. - The pool is protected by a fence in the winter and open in the summer. Access to the pool is blocked by a gate on the deck stairs. - After a lot of rain we sometimes get muddy puddles. - The yard has grass, flowers, woods, a kiddie pool, access to a hose, water bowl, dog toys, a place for pet parents to sit and relax while the doggos play. - Its probably a bit more than a 1/2 acre fenced with grass and a wooded trail. There will almost always be someone home during any visit as I work from home. We have dogs and I will lock them inside the house while we have visitors. Rules: 1. We would appreciate a 24 hour notice for all reservation changes or cancellations. 2. If you have more than 2 cars attending at the same time, please park at North Broadway Crossing. 3. Only one booking is in the yard at a time. 4. Due to the pool, no person under 18 is allowed on the property without adult supervision. 5. It is crucial that you arrive during and only stay for the time booked because another family may be booked directly after you or I could have my dogs in the yard if you are there outside of your booked time and I wouldn't want an unexpected encounter.

Watkins Woods Private Dog Park on Mt. Kearsarge

Fully fenced yard on Mt. Kearsarge in Warner, NH bordering Rollins State Park located at the historic property settled by the Watkins family in the early 1790’s. Abner Watkins was a founding father of Warner and a soldier in the Revolutionary War serving under Ebenezer Webster, father of Daniel. They fought in the Battles of Bennington and Saratoga and came back victorious. Abner with his wife Ruth and family retired up here on the mountain and is buried at the small cemetery down the road. Enjoy this peaceful spot surrounded by beautiful oak, maple, birch, pine & ash trees and let your dogs run, play and find sticks. I’m ok if they dig! That’s what dogs love to do! Plenty of shade and a new picnic table. Right next door is the Rollins State Park toll gate to go up Mt. Kearsarge and also access to miles of hiking trails. Fresh drinking water for the dogs!
