10 Acres of Wooded Trails on Private Dog Park In Mt. Vernon

Our property requires a walk up a hill to access once you have parked. Once you reach the top you have just over 10 acres to explore on old forest roads and trails. We have very thick brush on the south, went and north sides of the property and the east side is fenced in. We live about 5 miles from I5 with an upper property behind our home full of old forest roads, some trails, trees, and plenty of room to roam around off-leash or on. There is a lot of wildlife around the area and that lives and sleeps in our property to lots to sniff but be aware for off leash recall if a bunny or deer passes by.

Christina's Fully Fenced Yard For Dogs To Rent In Arlington

Fully fenced, mostly grass(rather dry and crispy during summer) with a wood chip and dirt walking path around the outer edge of the ever-changing yard and a couple garden beds. It's relatively flat and great for fetching! There are neighbor dogs that may occasionally bark next door along with a nearby horse we can hear every once in a while, but other than that, it's pretty quiet. [edit: The neighbor dogs are out more often for summer and they have been a bit barky, so if your dog is reactive, my spot might be better one to visit when Fall gets here and the Dachshunds are back to just being indoors] There are many squirrels and birds that frequent the yard, along with at least one mole that wreaks a bit of havoc on the grass. I'd prefer no digging, but if your dog got a mole, I would probably not be that upset about a hole. We lost one of our dogs last year and our remaining dog seems bored with the yard. I'm hoping making our yard into a Sniffspot will give him some enrichment as well, sniffing all the new dogs who have visited the yard. So far, all the new sniffs have been very exciting for my little rescue gremlin. :)

Freedom Trails Dog Park

Our dogs love running in "the field" and walking the trails, and playing hide and seek, so we decided to share it with you. Please enjoy our fully fenced 5-acre field and wooded area. We are constantly checking and working to keep clear of large debris and overgrowth. The back section can get quite flooded especially after snow and rain, but this is primarily during the winter months, but you are welcome to explore and get muddy. We have a hose hooked up to the water in the field just in case your floof needs a rinse or just wants to play in the water. We also have a kiddie pool set up for use. We have added on a fire pit / s’mores add on option. Check it out for an even more relaxing experience by our camping fire pit. Please let us know what we can do to make it even better. PS we have 4 extremely friendly barn cats. They will likely come greet you and may join you on your adventure. They are completely used to being around large dogs If your dogs don’t like they, likely the cats will just scatter. But if you give any attention, they will join you and love to walk the trails.

For now, the forest trails are very short, rustic and dead end in the summer. Enjoy nature’s agility course by wandering at your will. This is a natural property, not a groomed park. You will have privacy, quiet and solitude while your dogs run and explore. In the wet season, there is mud at a few low spots after the second clearing. We offer a farm setting open field with loads of room for both dogs and their people. Private fenced parking area off the street. Enter off 248 Street at 5245 248 Street. Our park is fully fenced with both big and small dogs in mind. We provide a water hose and bucket for dog’s drinking. We have added a permanent shelter from both sun and shade complete with a picnic table and seating for you. There is a play structure to keep your kids busy. For the dogs we have all sorts of fun games and parkour and agility equipment. Pause and training tables, weave poles, A frame, tunnel, barrel jump, balance stools, jumps, ground tires, teeter totter, picture opportunities, hose, pooper scooper. We compost waste so no bags needed. Just scoop and put into the provided bucket. Please do not leave your plastic poop bags here. We have no way to dispense of it. There is plenty of room to play ball or practice obedience. This is a farm setting but we are in a residential area so please cognizant of noise either by humans or dogs. Coming here will feel like you are in the country with the beauty of the mountains, a field to run in and a trail to hike in. *Please note that the acreage is a total of 86 acres including the crop areas. There is very little time that the crop area is restricted. When the pumpkins are grown, it is fun to walk up the rows and we welcome the pups to be in there, take photos etc. If you visit during planting, we ask the dogs stay out of that area as that can damage the crop. There is lots of space to run and walk/hike. The perimeter trail is approximately 3.5km. There is short grass, tall grass the dogs can go in and out all over the field in the front and middle of the property. As well as up the hill trail.

22 forested acres with private trails and an open field area located in the power line clearing. Includes private land access to state forest trails with views. Once you park you will see the trail entrance into the forest in front of you. Take the trail down to the creek. Water levels in the creek vary depending on the time of year. Cross the creek using the foot bridge and head through the forest. In about .3 miles you will come out into the powering line clearing. Feel free to explore everything in front of you and to the left (north). There are several wide open grass spaces in the power line to play fetch or just let the dogs run and be dogs. I will send you detailed instructions for the hike up the mountain upon request. This is a real hike and I recommend hiking attire. Please bring water for yourself and your dogs. The hike is about 3.5 miles and 800 feet of elevation gain. I recommend booking at least 2 hours to complete. If you want to hang out and enjoy the views you may want to book more than 2 hours.
