“This facility is inside of a one-on-one Grooming Studio. During regular business hours, a client dog will likely be getting groomed. There is also a self-wash and it is possible that it may also be in use. Both areas are separated from the enrichment room, but there is line of sight between areas.”

“I specialize in all games where dogs use their noses. This includes finding lost articles and locating rats. The rats are pets and may not be removed from their quarry boxes. Barn Hunt tubes are also available for the experienced and the curious. Rat safety is paramount and will require a briefing and signed acknowledgement of how the rats are to be handled. At no time may the rats be freed from their cages or tubes.”

“This is a specialized grooming studio, where clients are worked with and immediately sent home- there are no banks of cages, and rarely any barking. It is possible that an owner arrived to pick up their dog while the enrichment room is in use. The same applies to clients dropping off dogs or those who have reserved the self-wash station.”

Description

This area is dedicated to dogs who live to do sniffy things. There is a variety of fitness equipment including treadmills, slat mills. Cato Boards, Klimb pedestals, fit bones, and balance balls. Or if you prefer more play engagement, a ball pit, teeter, low dog walk and weave poles are available. For those wanting to practice or sharpen their nose skills, oils, pre,-scented lost articles, and rats for Urban Locating or Barn Hunt are available.

Dogs must enter and exit the premises leashed. No letting your dogs urinate in the flower bed out front or on any manmade item. There are prominent areas of grass for this use. All waste is to be removed by the owner and deposited in the appropriate receptacle at Carrie's Critters. PFitness equipment is accessible and may be enjoyed after a safety briefing. Rats are available for training or practicing Urban Locating and Barn Hunt. An additional fee applies and rats are never to be removed from their cage, quarry or tube in the presence of any dog.
