There are about 8-10 cows in the same fenced area during the summer months, and sometimes into the fall. We lease the field and ask you to stay on the opposite side of the cows to mitigate any chases from happening. The area is huge! So this is not a problem most of the time. Our dogs don’t have run ins often.

All neighbors are within about a 30 yard distance at least! There will almost always be someone home at the house, but we will be inside or in our small back yard during the visit.

Description

Large 30 acre plot of land with hills, a reservoir , and plenty of open space for your fur baby to run! We would love to have you swing by and explore. :)

HOST NOTE

Around the property, if you aren’t watching where you are walking, you may find your foot in a ground squirrel hole. Cactus are out and about in some areas as well. We have a reservoir that can get very sticky mud around the edge from time to time. Just be watchful of your feet! With all the feet watching, you could find a neat rock! Feel free to take it home. :)

Only one booking is allowed at a time at any spot and there is an enforced 30 min buffer between all bookings to ensure dogs in separate bookings do not meet.
This spot is set for Booking, which means you will be instantly confirmed for any booking you request. You will receive the address and access instruction immediately following booking.
Visits can be moved or cancelled up to 2 hours before a visit.
Visits can be extended and dogs can be added throughout the visit.

Our pasture is a perfect place for dogs to play, run, sniff and explore! Barbed wire and split rail fence surround all 25 acres. Note that some dogs may be able to get through the fencing if they are really determined. Rolling hills as well as 8 flat acres! Our pasture is filled with flowers, tall grass, and sagebrush in the summer and fall. In the winter there is snow. Sometimes a lot of it! We groom trails year-round. The pasture has a spring that flows 10 months out of the year. Please give us as much advance notice as possible. This is a beautiful spot that is hard to beat!! Easy access and only 10 minutes outside of Steamboat!
