We are located in the far SW corner of PW, where we literally can see for miles. Our yard is mostly turf with a little bit of pea gravel & two gravel entry pathways. We have a sand beach for digging & dog friendly pet grass for munching as long as the weather holds out. We also have an on site poop disposal that empties directly into our septic system so no messy bags to deal with here!!! Plenty of parking in our cul-de-sac or along the side of our driveway near our Austrian Pines that provide some nice shade. Our gate is a double latching self closing 6’ gate. That gains you entry right from our driveway into our spacious backyard. We occasionally have deer & quail but that is the extend of our wildlife. We have an 8 year old female Greyhound & right now are fostering a 2 year female Greyhound too. They would remain in the house at all times but you could hear them whine upstairs while you are there because they would want to come out and play too.

25 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Paradise

Our pasture is a perfect place for dogs to play, run, sniff and explore! Barbed wire and split rail fence surround all 25 acres. Note that some smaller dogs may be able to get through the fencing if they are really determined. Rolling hills as well as 8 flat acres! Our pasture is filled with flowers, tall grass, and sagebrush in the summer and fall. In the winter there is snow. Sometimes a lot of it! We groom trails year-round. Please give us as much advance notice as possible, so that we can make sure the donkeys and chickens are in the corral. This is a beautiful spot that is hard to beat!! Easy access and only 10 minutes outside of Steamboat! We just lowered our price by 25% to accommodate the cattle who were on the land in October which created some cow pie land mines lol !

Welcome! We have a fully fenced (40” beam and wire) half-acre grassy orchard with 17 fruit trees, a 6’ fenced we garden enclosure, a greenhouse, and place to roam for your doggies. Our trees do produce fruit so there will be objects on the ground including leaves, branches, flower blossoms, and fruit depending on the season. We also attract wild animals so deer, elk and bear scat is common. We have an outdoor cat who makes himself invisible when doggie guests are here. The sniffspot yard is fully enclosed separately and adjacent to our personal backyard/patio. There is a bungee chair and a lounge chair for owners to use and relax. A large pooper scooper is available to remove waste and toss into the compost heap at the back of the property. Bottled waters and a dog bowl are hanging from the fence for your convenience.

This spot offers a variety of excitement… Mowed trails, fun obstacles and play toys, a water tub and hose, shady trees with picnic tables, nice views of the foothills, birds singing and seeing my mini Herfords grazing in other sections of my property. Based on the season, it looks a little different. In the spring before the pasture is hayed, I mow trails through it. (Keep in mind when it rains or sometimes in the fall, it can get a little wet in the northwest section… but the other areas always stay dry.) When the summer comes, the pasture is hayed thereby offering a vast playground. When the winter comes in, it’s a fun place to play when it snows. The yard includes grassy areas, a concrete patio, and seasonally includes leaves or apples fallen from our trees. All plants and fruit are verified to be non-toxic to dogs. This spot may be best for small to medium dogs, but all dogs are welcome. There is a patio table with chairs and small trash can available with poop bags nearby. The patio is mostly in shade by the afternoon, while sun stays in much of the grassy area through early afternoon. The hose is off for the winter but will be back in the spring!

18 acre ranch with beautiful landscape, views of horses and occasionally wildlife depending on time of day and 10 acres fully fenced for sniffspot reservations. You are welcome to pet the horses but do not feed. Please do not allow your dogs to growl or charge the horses (even though they are behind fences). All the horses are calm and easy around dogs, which we need it to stay that way. We have a fully fenced area roughly 10 acres with mowed paths for walking. You are welcome to walk thru the field if desired. The horses have access to the field during non sniffspot hours so there will be delicious horse poop, some dogs will eat it and others not. Most dogs process horse poop very well and many vets will tell you it’s good for their gut. There are random balls and toys in the field for use, water is available and if we are home during your visit should the restroom be needed we will honor use of that. Most days there is a bin with free dog food and/or treat samples. You are welcome to bring agility or equipment and toys each visit if desired or practice nosework. We are also open to hosting groups, such as agility, nosework or trainers who need a large outdoor space that is fully fenced. Off street parking and can accommodate large vehicles. Small dogs are welcome, do note the fencing is graduated so depending on size of dog, some real tiny ones who are escape artists may not be the best fit.
