Description

This 1/2 acre open space is rough; not manicured, but better than it used to be! It is a work in progress. :o) Once inside the heavy gate, you will find a long grassy driveway leading into a large undeveloped parcel. Please feel free to drive in and park at the north end of the driveway. [The fence on the east side of the driveway may not be solid as wildlife pass through that way.] The large parcel is fully enclosed. There is also a 4' wide 'run' along the south and west sides. Please send a message with your reservation with a description number of your dog(s) -- and it would be helpful if you tell me how you are using the space. You do not need to pay extra for more than 1 dog. Just, please, be reasonable.

Prickly holly and some blackberry bramble ... but worker-goats have eliminated nearly all of the brush and blackberry.

Please survey the grounds before setting your dogs free; there may be deer on the property. If so, NO DOGS ALLOWED. The deer will probably run off if they see you. For more than 3 dogs, please confirm. Additional dogs are possible; please ask. No extra charge for 2-4 dogs - just mention how many dogs in your message, but don't put the number in your reservation. Please close the street gate when you leave. If you have trouble, please contact us.

Almost an acre of pastureland overlooking Jacoby Creek Valley for dogs to sniff, roam, play, and most of all be off leash and in nature. Come with your dog alone or bring some friends and dog pals (up to 6 total) to romp and chase and play while you relax. There are some toys and obstacles, water, and lots to dig. Please bring your own balls. There may be cattle in the adjoining field below, occasionally deer though rarely in the daytime. Chairs are set for a pastoral view, particularly lovely at sunset. People and cars may go by on the driveway. The spot is all yours when you are there and with respect to reactive dogs, I won't greet you unless we set that up in advance. I want the dogs to feel that this is their space and we won't intrude. If your plans change you can cancel or reschedule up to 2 hours prior to your reservation through the app but it does not allow changes after that. Please no smoking or using while visiting. Enjoy!
