Host Rules
We have pets of our own and we understand the importance of having space for your dog(s) to run and play freely. We have an awesome view of a pond with various seating and a tree swing that you may use. We are pretty laid back and just have basic “rules” to ensure a safe and fun time for all: WATER HOSES Water hoses are located outside of the fence on each side of the house and either can be used by guests for water bowls or quick sprays. Please inquire beforehand if you would like play time with the hose or a sprinkler and we can approve this based on various factors. POND Dogs must be leashed outside of the fence. We have several types of waterfowl (ducks, geese, herons) that only humans may interact with. Dogs should never been encouraged or allowed to play with or intimidate the birds. FIRE PIT Fire pit available. Must inquire if wood is available for use or bring your own. SEATING Our small deck can be used for seating but please do not remove any items from the deck into the yard. Grill is not available for use. Plastic chairs at fire pit can be arranged in the yard as you please. FLOWER BEDS and DIGGING Dogs should avoid flower beds as best possible. Digging allowed only wooded pine straw area. Fill holes back in if you’re able. Thanks!

We offer a fully fenced private backyard oasis that is perfect for both dogs and their human friends! We have 1/4 acre play yard that provides plenty of shade for our guests from the large oak tree on property. Human guests are welcome to use the outdoor chairs on the deck that overlooks play area for dogs. Deck has gates so smaller dogs can have their own secure area if needed. Muddy paws? No thanks! Our property has beautifully landscaped with turf, which is low maintenance for easy cleanup. We provide water bowls, a hose (for quick clean up if needed), and a doggy trash can. The Fire pit can be used but guests need to provider their own wood and kindling. We hope you enjoy our special retreat in the city!

Hidden River Farm is a 40 plus acre paradise for humans and dogs. We opened our organic orchard 6 years ago and it operates annually from June to October. So we have decided to try to open it up for use year around if possible. We welcome folks to bring their dogs out to run, retrieve, train or just play for awhile to get the energy out. There is an abundance of land. We offer a picnic area with table and chairs. Both tables offer umbrellas for shade if needed. We have water spigots so that the dogs can have clean drinking water. We also are breeders of Champion Labrador Retrievers. We have chickens, ducks, donkeys, horse and more. We are a working farm that believes sharing is a great thing these days.

This yard is 100% separate from my personal back yard and truly gives you the private dog park feel! You don’t even have to go behind my house to gain access. If you have a dog(s) who would love a large open area to play fetch and have the zoomies this is the perfect play spot. •We have a picnic table for seating and umbrella for use. •A water hose and kiddie pool for dogs to cool off and play in. •Provided a large Stainless Steel water bowl •Black outdoor box stocked with dog toys, treats and other items for use. •This yard can be lit up with a spot light when daylight savings ends and it gets darker earlier. Plus a street light directly in front of my house. My neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. You may see people walking the neighborhood with other dogs or children from my yard.
