Description

Hello and thanks for booking time at our Dog Park. We’re excited to host you! We are the Thomas Family and have been living and keeping horses here in South Houston since 1994. We still have a few horses and goats roaming the ranch along with our own canine friends Dolce, Bailey, Teddy and Bug. We look forward to you and your pets coming over for some great play time with our sprinkler pad designed for dogs, balls to play with and plenty of space to run free! Book today, you won't regret!

HOST NOTE

There used to be a house on the field that is now the Dog Park. There is a gas pipe that is covered by a safety cone. There is also a hole near the gas pipe, we've put tires in the hole, please be careful not to trip or fall in, its probably 2 feet deep, nothing major, but something to keep an eye out for. There is also a well connection towards the back, working on getting that covered also.

The Back 40

When you book "The Back 40" you have access to the original, smaller, The Mannerly Dog Sniffspot, so no one will be using it while you're here! You'll still have your own private dog park, just a bigger one. You will not see us or our dogs. One neighbor has chickens - they are catty-corner to The Back 40, in the rear. They are in a pen and may cluck or crow at times. the yard catty-corner on the other side occasionally has a couple of dogs in it, but it's pretty rare - it could happen though. You might see or hear humans on the other side of the wooden fence that runs the full 300 feet along the side of both Sniffspots. Otherwise, the area is serene and quiet with plenty of squirrels and birds. Sit and rest or play with your dog - either way, we hope you enjoy your visit!
