The whole area is Deer fenced - see last photo I added. There is a couple of interior fences that are standard farm fencing but they lead to other parts of the sniffspot. Some fences have hedges for privacy.

PLEASE NOTE PADDOCKS HAVE CHANGED - ONLY STAY IN PADDOCKS COLOURED BLUE, LILAC, HOT PINK, PURPLE. DO NOT ACCESS OTHER PADDOCKS. Peaceful & serene our farm is the perfect place for offleash zoomies & exploring. We offer a true outdoor adventure type of walk, expect your dogs to go home content & ready for a snooze. Our farm is huge! Offering 15 acres for your dogs pleasure! The place offers wide open spaces, with paddocks recently being baled, gentle contour which keeps things interesting, a small creek that fills via tap & rain water, water troughs to dip in, plenty of space to explore, long grass to bounce through & exciting smells to sniff. You might even meet our friendly calves or goats - the sheep aren't as friendly. A hose is available to clean your dog off after their adventure at the front of the stables (dogs will need to be leashed, please let us know so we can turn water on for you), gated entry with a dog waste bin in each paddock. Note - you will still need some control of your dogs as the area is very large. PLEASE ONLY STAY IN PADDOCKS COLOURED BLUE, LILAC, HOT PINK, PURPLE. DO NOT ACCESS OTHER PADDOCKS Please note there are other dogs living on the property but if you stick to sniffspot areas you won't have any issues as they are at the front of the property where house is & dog park is at the back. **IMPORTANT prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD. **

Reduced operating hours: Our opening hours will be reduced for 2026 now that the horses have returned, allowing us time to enjoy the property as well, but please feel free to message me as we might be able to accommodate you still. **ROADWORKS**. From the 13th Jan 2026 my road will be closed for 6 weeks & can only be accessed from Mill Road, it will be marked residents only. Just tell them you live at number 1527 and they will let you through** A great location for both owners and dogs to unwind, featuring a creek bordered by native trees that have stood for centuries. There are park benches available for you to sit back and relax and a dedicated area for your dogs to swim and cool off on a hot summers day. The main big creek has water all year round. Notes for guests to be aware of: The bank next to the creek has several steep slopes that drop down to the water, so please exercise caution if you have children with you. Unfortunately we no longer provide a consistent supply of dog toys as they all go missing, sometimes the same day they are put out! There will be toys out on the odd occasion and we usually provide a good stack of sticks for dogs to enjoy but otherwise feel free to bring your dogs favourite toy with you 🙂 Neighbours barking dog: Our neighbour who runs the Sniffspot 15 acre adventure farm in Karaka lives next door to us and lets their German Shepard bark ALL the time even when they are home so there is a high chance you might encounter it on arrival or departure, the dog is 70m away from my place & cannot be seen only heard as it barks loud. We have had over 700 past reservations and not had any issues so far so your dog should be fine seems the dog cannot be seen & is a good distance away. IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD.

BarkPark is a 20 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Buckland

IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD BarkPark is a 20 acre working farm with a mixture of rolling hills and flat paddocks. Walk through the native bush where wood pigeons and tui fly. Native ferns frame the creeks running through the bush. There are plenty of picnic spots under large Totara trees where you can sit and watch your dog have a swim in the pond. On your journey you will see cattle, geese, ducks, turkeys, pukako, rabbits and native birds, and carp in the pond. The entire time will be for you and your dog as each session is pre booked for a specific time slot. We have 3 spoilt dogs which will be indoors for your visit and aviaries with parrots which will hear as you drive past the house up the farm track to commence your journey.

Mostly dog proof fenced except for possible gaps around the turned over tree trunk in the left rear paddock. Please take care, I cannot guarantee an impenetrable fence! Gaps pop up constantly being a farm. There’s a lovely creek running through the property so great for dogs that love splashing in water. Available from 1pm weekdays and all day on weekends.
