Poochie Garden is a sensory experience with plenty of shade and room to zoom! Cooler weather features a 6-foot stock-tank ball pit and hot drinks for humans - **included** with all reservations. Turf includes short grass, large beds of taller ornamental grass as natural snuffle spots, bare dirt, and pine mulch, plus a sand Digging Garden along with varied natural rock, cobblestone, and wooden deck walking surfaces - all securely contained within a 6-foot wooden privacy fence. Treat-tipping bottles, an Agility Walk, a Stump Walk, a curated selection of toys, and plenty of other sensory experiences add to your pup's best day. Bring kibble or treats to challenge your hound to the mental stimulation of a puzzle or two. Pup-safe plantings of spearmint, strawberry, catnip, wheat grass, oregano, beautyberry, and more offer your pooch plenty to explore, sniff, and nibble. Humans can rest in the chairs, bench, and hammock on the deck or in the garden and enjoy the sounds of a waterfall, wind chimes, and birds while your pooch plays. Seasonal and static picturesque photo ops are plentiful! Include a human friend or two and their dogs in your reservation if you'd like to share the garden experience! Bring coffee or takeout from a local restaurant! The garden is fully lit, so you can even enjoy it after dusk. We offer a PAWty package to celebrate special occasions and a DIY Garden Bath as add-ons to complete your booking. Look in the Extras section for details. Poochie Garden is a certified Wildlife Habitat, so you may encounter birds, rabbits, toads, butterflies, spiders, bees, and other friends while you visit. Please enjoy their presence and do no harm. We accept bookings up to 2 weeks in advance. Message if you have a special date to reserve with more notice, and we will try to accommodate. Note that there are a few steps and slopes into and around the yard that may impact access for those with mobility challenges and limitations. On Instagram? Exercise caution to avoid tripping and falling on uneven rocks, steps, ground, leaves, and grasses. Climbing roses on trellises do have thorns and may cause scratches. Pup-safe plants are marked; do not allow your dog to ingest any part of the azaleas marked by the black fence due to toxicity. There may be insects or small wild animals that could sting or bite. Guests assume all risks.

Does your pup need a bath? I set up our XL Booster Bath with 3-point tether and provide the shampoo and towel so you can safely bathe right here in the garden! Booster Bath eliminates issues with home bathing: slipping and sliding, chasing the shampoo bottle (and your pup), backaches from bending over, lifting your pup into and out of the tub and messy bathroom cleanups. Solar-heated water and the serene garden setting makes bathing even more enjoyable! *Requires 2-hour advance purchase.

Additional rules

Proof of vaccination required for all dogs. Maximum one car, two humans per dog. No dogs or humans in vegetable/fruit/herb gardens, in garage, or in house. Please discourage digging outside of the digging garden and repair any holes. Do not allow dogs to chew or otherwise damage any garden features. No smoking, vaping, or alcohol.

The yard is mostly fenced, quiet, and perfect for letting your dog run and play while you relax. We’ve got egg chairs, a small fire pit, and plenty of open space. My own two dogs stay inside during the day, so the yard is usually free. There are neighbor dogs nearby, but they stay on their side and we’ve never had any issues. This isn’t a drop-off spot owners must stay with their dogs. It’s just a peaceful space to enjoy some outdoor time together.

Please don’t stop here but stay on the street until you see the rope and yellow no trespassing sign on your left. Park and enter here. Walk the little road until you get to the old fence with blue ribbon and then you can walk the trails or continue up the power line to the very top. It’s far. But do not go past this tower that overlooks the horses. Have fun!

2 acre pond for dogs to train and swim. Partially fenced , but off a main road. Total of 3 acres. Leashes not required but to do so is at your own risk. Bring your own chairs, water etc. please remove all trash you may have as no trash cans are available. You may park past the pond on the grass to your left by the big trees too if you like since it’s so hot. just allow for access for delivery’s etc. We are open for outside events for any rescue group that needs a venue as well. Just message me here for information. Due to the severe heat/dryness, the pond is currently low. Swimming for dogs is at owner’s discretion, I will update here as weather changes.
