We built Poochie every dog's dream yard - a sensory and enrichment garden - with plenty of creature comforts. We love sharing Poochie Garden with all the good dogs and their humans! Turf includes short grass, large beds of taller ornamental grass as natural snuffle spots, bare dirt, and pine mulch, plus a sand Digging Garden along with varied natural rock, cobblestone, and wooden deck walking surfaces - all securely contained within a 6-foot wooden privacy fence. Our Agility Walk, Stump Walk, curated selection of toys, water play, ball pit, treat-tipping bottles, and plenty of other experiences add to your pup's best day. Bring kibble or treats to challenge your hound to the mental stimulation of a puzzle or two. Pup-safe plantings of spearmint, strawberry, catnip, wheat grass, oregano, beautyberry, and more offer your pooch plenty to explore, sniff, and nibble. Humans can rest in the chairs, bench, and hammock on the deck or in the garden and enjoy the sounds of a waterfall, wind chimes, and birds while your pooch plays. Seasonal and static picturesque photo ops are plentiful! Include a human friend or two and their dogs in your reservation if you'd like to share the garden experience! Bring coffee or takeout from a local restaurant - or enjoy refreshments from our Coffee Bar~k! We are located close to I-30 and I-40 to make a perfect road-trip rest stop. The garden is fully lit, so you can even enjoy it after dusk. We offer a PAWty package to celebrate special occasions and a DIY Garden Bath as add-ons to complete your booking. Look in the Extras section for details. Poochie Garden is a certified Wildlife Habitat, so you may encounter birds, rabbits, toads, butterflies, spiders, bees, and other friends while you visit. Please enjoy their presence and do no harm. We typically accept bookings up to 2 weeks in advance. Message if you have a special date to reserve with more notice, and we will try to accommodate. Exercise caution to avoid tripping and falling on uneven rocks, steps, ground, leaves, and grasses. Climbing roses on trellises do have thorns and may cause scratches. Pup-safe plants are marked; do not allow your dog to ingest any part of the azaleas marked by the black fence due to toxicity. There may be insects or small wild animals that could sting or bite. Guests assume all risks.

Additional rules

Proof of vaccination required for all dogs. Maximum one car, two humans per dog. No dogs or humans in wooden vegetable/fruit/herb gardens, in garage, or in house. Please discourage digging outside of the digging garden and repair any holes. Do not allow dogs to chew or otherwise damage any garden features. No smoking, vaping, or alcohol.

My husband and I spoil our rescue Pomsky. We built him a back yard of his doggy dreams, and we can't wait to share it with you and your pooch!

If yours is like mine he loves to float on rafts with me that are provided in our backyard oasis. We offer a membership to our property which can save you money if you’re a frequent guest. My own two dogs stay inside during the day, so the yard is usually free. There are neighbor dogs nearby, but they stay on their side and we’ve never had any issues. Walk the little road until you go past the old fence with green gate and then you can walk the trails or continue up the power line to the very top. It’s far. 2 acre pond for dogs to train and swim. Partially fenced , but off a main road. Total of 3 acres. Leashes not required but to do so is at your own risk. Bring your own chairs, water etc. please remove all trash you may have as no trash cans are available. You may park past the pond on the grass to your left by the big trees too if you like since it’s so hot. just allow for access for delivery’s etc. We are open for outside events for any rescue group that needs a venue as well. Just message me here for information. Due to the severe heat/dryness, the pond is currently low. Swimming for dogs is at owner’s discretion, I will update here as weather changes.
