Welcome to the Walnut Grove! This private, fully fenced 1.2-acre property is a peaceful spot for your pup to run, sniff, and explore. Shaded by beautiful walnut trees (plus a cherry and peach tree—feel free to enjoy some fruit if it's ripe!), the grove offers plenty of room for play and relaxation. You'll find an old-fashioned hand-pump well on site with fresh water—just bring a little elbow grease! A water bowl or bucket will be available nearby, and I’ll do my best to have it filled before you arrive. There's also a fire pit if you'd like to enjoy a cozy moment—just bring your own firewood and let me know if you plan to use it. The terrain is natural and a bit uneven in places, but we keep it mowed. Please be mindful of nature’s visitors—occasional bees or even a curious snake may pass through. Plenty of sticks are scattered around for chewing fun, and the mature trees provide lots of shade for hot days. Malta Bend is a quiet little farming town, perfect for a peaceful getaway from the city. You'll find a trash can and shovel on site for poop pickup—we appreciate your help in keeping the grove clean for all visitors. We are a licensed dog boarding and daycare kennel established out of our walk out basement in a nature setting in mid-Missouri. We have a 2,800 sqft fenced yard equipped with agility equipment and puppy playgrounds. The fence has a dog park double gate entrance. There is an acre of yard and woods with a small trail winding through. If it's raining, the dry creek fills up with water. Inside we have an indoor tire obstacle course, slatmill, elevated beds, toys, a TV, and more.
