Welcome to the Walnut Grove! This private, fully fenced 1.2-acre property is a peaceful spot for your pup to run, sniff, and explore. Shaded by beautiful walnut trees (plus a cherry and peach tree—feel free to enjoy some fruit if it's ripe!), the grove offers plenty of room for play and relaxation. You'll find an old-fashioned hand-pump well on site with fresh water—just bring a little elbow grease! A water bowl or bucket will be available nearby, and I’ll do my best to have it filled before you arrive. There's also a fire pit if you'd like to enjoy a cozy moment—just bring your own firewood and let me know if you plan to use it. The terrain is natural and a bit uneven in places, but we keep it mowed. Please be mindful of nature’s visitors—occasional bees or even a curious snake may pass through. Plenty of sticks are scattered around for chewing fun, and the mature trees provide lots of shade for hot days. Malta Bend is a quiet little farming town, perfect for a peaceful getaway from the city. You'll find a trash can and shovel on site for poop pickup—we appreciate your help in keeping the grove clean for all visitors. We are a licensed dog boarding and daycare kennel established out of our walk out basement in a nature setting in mid-Missouri. We have a 2,800 sqft fenced yard equipped with agility equipment and puppy playgrounds. The fence has a dog park double gate entrance. There is an acre of yard and woods with a small trail winding through. If it's raining, the dry creek fills up with water. Inside we have an indoor tire obstacle course, slatmill, elevated beds, toys, a TV, and more. Entrance indoors would depend if your dog is friendly towards other dogs and if you can provide current proof of vaccinations.

The place is all yours to use as you please during your booking. You can request to have one or more of my dogs play with your dogs for socialization if you’d like.
