Description

Come walk 12 acres of mixed terrain, sweeping meadow to rock outcroppings. This is not fenced but there is an old 3 wire fence that outlines the property. We have 2 friendly dogs that wonder the property that we can have put away during your stay or leave out to have dogs to play with. We do have 5 goats that are fenced in and 3 cats that roam the property. Please pick up after your dogs.

Additional rules

Please don’t cross over to neighbors property. Feel free to ask any questions via text. Some directions to get here have you go to the gas station and then cut through a small dirt road. Please be aware of this and do not use this cut through. Entrance to cross bow is accessed from the highway (u-turn ) from the highway. 2 Adults max per dog! (Unless otherwise arranged) You can go 360 around the house but please give a 100 foot buffer from house In all directions. When you come down cross bow you will Come Straight down the hill till you see a stop sign, that’s my driveway. Park where ever. There is an old fence line that you can follow around the property, there is a little spring In the meadow. The back of the property there is no fence but you will see a black wire that marks the property. Also there is a water bowl we will leave out on the front of the house, Feel free to get water out of the spickets on the house. The main meadow if you follow the fence from right to left, you will come to the spring and then a bit further you will hit a fence that cuts diagonal , there is a large opening where a gate was at one point, it is still my property past this so you can go up the hill and and go pretty far down when it starts getting steep. There are some cool rock outcroppings and a little teepee you can try and find! Also a pretty cool city view behind the fence! Again if you have any questions feel free to ask! This time of year snow can be deep so bring snow shoes for exploring.

Our home is located in the NW corner of the property, leaving the rest for you and your pup(s) to explore! Wildlife will occasionally stroll through, mainly deer and elk. Country Run's Private Ranch is 58 acres located just shy of one mile off of Highway 285 off of Pleasant Park Road. An amazing location - a hidden gem. As you walk from the parking area along the path, the property opens up into a beautiful aspen forest with wooden benches and a large meadow. Half way down the meadow on the left (west) side is a small riparian area with Alder trees - the beginning of several spring fed creeks. The hillside on the east side of the property offers rock outcroppings, large rock benches and 360 views. Our dogs thoroughly enjoy their time here and we hope your dog does, too! Depending on the time of year, the spring fed area can be muddy, an old towel is recommended for the drive home. This property is perfect for dog walks, picnics and celebrations. Just sharing the love of providing an easy, quiet place for dogs in the Denver community. Great area to get work done while your dog explores. Convenient location. Double lot, lots of grass, great training/play area. Leaf piles in fall, 🍂, snow in winter ❄️. I clean/disinfect bowls/provide fresh water. fire pit/sitting area/blankets/drinks for humans. Motorized pergola opens/shuts for weather. Borrow a blanket on the couch if needed during your visit. My resident dog: med tricolor mix, friendly, quiet/sticks close to me or sleeps in the house. You won't hear or see her. Very secure yard. I close curtains/lock all doors/dog door. *Neighbors are very quiet. On occasion they do host people to watch football/hockey outdoors in their yard, but not all the time. Feel free to message me to confirm. 🪧 🅿️ Read street sweeping signs. Don't park in front April to November. 2nd Tues/month.

Last minute bookings are welcome! We provide a bucket full of a variety of toys, fresh water and clean bowls, and a kiddie pool for your pups to enjoy. Our hose and sprinkler are available for guest use. We provide several shaded seating areas and folding chairs, as well as hand sanitizer and sunscreen for humans. You’ll also find a bucket of towels on the porch that you can use to dry off a wet pup or wipe grass away from paws. We have two large trees that provide lots of shade in the summer. Our spot is setup to be a private experience, so it will just be you and your pup during your booking. You are welcome to invite guests to your booking; please make sure they are informed on parking areas and where to enter. Our six foot privacy fence is newly built and has no holes or gaps. Our spot is great for energetic, playful, or reactive pups. Please note that while our yard is wheelchair accessible, our porch is not. If you need me to move anything down into the yard for your convenience, please send me a message and I will do my best to accommodate.
