Description

Got a big, energetic dog who needs a lot of space to run? You’ve found it! We are a haven for dogs with Strong Opinions about things! 🤗 Doesn’t love people? Come on over! Hates other pets? That’s cool! Lives to chase and eat squirrels and moles? We’re overrun, you do you! We are blessed with 12 gorgeous acres in the pasture. We also have plenty of wildlife—depending on how rambunctious your dog might be, you may see otters, soft shelled turtles, tortoises, wood ducks, raccoons, armadillos, rabbits, and squirrels. We also have a plentiful supply of water birds—herons, egrets, and more. Parking is on the left side of the road next to the fence. Please bring your own scoop and poop bags, water,and chairs. PLEASE NOTE: We are specifically requesting that you do NOT come to our farm to “check us out” WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT. Please respect that is also our home, and we are closed to anyone who doesn’t have an appointment. For our security and the safety of our guests and their dogs, we have surveillance cameras in use at all our entrances.

HOST NOTE

Our horses will be in the stable, separated from the Sniffspot area while you visit, but there are horse and donkey poo in the pasture as well. Please be advised. Extra: In the wooded location near our house. Bring your bug spray in warm weather. Please watch your step and look out for nature!

This is a working farm and people do have to be outside at times, depending on the needs of our animals. Additionally, our property requires a lot of upkeep, and there may be someone working on a fence, or planting a tree, or servicing a well, etc. If your dog is aggressive towards people off in the distance who are just going about their business, this is not the right exercise spot for you. Please... *No minors unless prearranged with host. *No smoking/vaping of any substance. *Please watch dogs carefully until they do their duty, then... *Please clean up after you dog(s). Failure to do so will result in a ban from this spot. All rules followed will be greatly appreciated!

Welcome to my SniffSpot! Thank you for considering my location for your next dog park visit. I offer approximately a half acre of open, flat, unobstructed, private and completely fenced green space. Great place to play long distance fetch! Or let your pup(s) get out the zoomies while you relax on the shaded beautiful bench swing or Adirondack chairs. Does your pup need to cool off after playing? No problem because two doggie pools are readily available along with a water bowl and garden hose. I provide a dog station with poop bags and trash can for your convenience. Is your pup stinky after a full day of play? As an “Extra” I provide a Dog Wash station stocked with a variety of shampoo/conditioner, face and body wipes, and of course doggie treats for afterwards! If you’re in a rush and can’t wait for your pup to dry off, that’s no problem! As another “Extra” you can also find a bag of clean towels that are always fresh and ready for usage, inside the box of supplies! Dog treats located inside the supply bin are for everyone! Even if your pup doesn’t take a bath, feel free to give them a treat! Need a cool drink, snack or a quick meal? No problem! My SniffSpot is walking distance from an ice cream shop, Pelican’s Snowballs, Subway, Mexican, and other restaurants. Please note that there is a youth soccer field adjacent to my yard but there is green space between the soccer field and my yard. So there won’t be any interference. If you enjoy watching soccer, or even some occasional white noise, this is a bonus! *I have ducks that live in a coop far off to the side of my yard. They are very calm, quiet, docile animals and you’d hardly know they were there! Please keep in mind that the coop is made with chicken wire and cannot withstand a curious dog trying to get in* Psst! ***Naturally treat our yard in the summer so that our guests can enjoy As a rescuer, I totally understand some dogs just can't do social (myself, most of the time too), so dog park is a No. SniffSpot is an option for those special pooches. Quiet private Oasis for guests, private 100% fenced yard, sloped grass yard with 3 patio area. A lot to sniff, a lot of stairs to work out those legs. Very clean yard since I pick up after my own dogs daily. You can sit and relax or enjoy your book or bring a date. Squirrels and birds will make your visit more exciting. We're only 3 mins from Fenton, 2 mins from Downtown Cary. ***in the summer we add a baby doggie pool, fresh water, right before booking. Bring a towel if your baby loves water*** We provide a shop fan in the summer, our yard doesn't feel too hot 6-9 pm in summer is good time to come play Please msg us if you don't see any availability 😀
